Hello,
We have 8568, 5330 and 5360 handsets and would like to have multiple voicemail notification buttons on certain phones.
We have personal voicemail for each user, as well as several group and callcenter voicemails. We would ideally like both the personal and the group/callcenter voicemails to show on certain handsets. We have been told this is not possible, but wanted to confirm this before we went another route.
Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Tim

Yes you can, you just have to add a key (message waiting indicator) with the mailbox number that you want.

Actually no, this is not natively possible on the 5000. There are no MWI keys.
There is another post on here that makes mention of a third-party way via software from Xarios to do this.

Sorry, I was thinking about 3300!!!

Thanks for the responses, seems ridiculous the 5000 can't do simple things such as this natively.

Remember that you can set any number of mailboxes to light the message waiting light of a single set. Pressing the MSG button will tell you which mailbox they were left in, and in newer softwares (5.0+, maybe 4.x as well) even if you listen to all messages in one mailbox, the light will stay lite until all messages are cleared.

That's funny, I say the same thing about the 3300. "Remote phones have to connect using the MAS." Really?

No, not really, but that is the only supported configuration...

eg, Record a Call on internal calls, Multiple Auto Attnedants, Route calls by time of day, day of week or date, licensing that actually makes sense, Dynamic Extension Express, Position in Q etc etc etc......
Oh hang on a minute, the 5000 does do all of this natively. Now let me think......does the 3300??????
