Title: Delay when calls are answered and when caller can hear
Post by: berkley on February 23, 2017, 09:56:45 AM
When employee,  answers the phone and introduces themselves to the caller, i.e.. thank you for calling xyz co, this is john, the caller only hears the name john and the first part.

These are analog trunks. Software version is 6.1.3.27

Thank you for any help!!

Is Caller ID enabled on the trunks, but not actually in use?

Are the users wearing headsets?

Thanks,

I think TE's right...we had this issue with certain headsets and had to enable a flag to make them work.

Some users are using Mitel headsets, but not all, and last time I was there the CID was working. I sent an email to find out if CID is still working.

Berkley,

What I was getting at was that some headsets have a powersaver mode so Headset Connect tone works to fix the issue.

Thanks,

TE
