MiCollab client is 7.3.
MiCollab is AD integrated and we bring in many contacts from AD.

When a user types a mobile number in the make call window, MiCollab matches the number to a contact even though the contact's number is something different. It seems to match only the last few digits of the mobile number and then pops up with the contact.
The issue is if the contact is displayed after typing in the number and you press enter or call, it will dial the contact instead of the number entered.
Only way to get around it is to click elsewhere on the desktop so the contact dissapears and then it will dial the number as it was entered into the make call window. It still show the contact's name in the call control window but at least it dialled the correct number. It is annoying to say the least...

I cannot upgrade to the next Gen PC client yet.
Anyone else experienced this before and got a better workaround?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / DND does not work for SIP trunk calls
« on: February 14, 2019, 12:03:06 PM »
I'm unable to get DND to work for SIP trunk calls to an ACD station. I've tried the setting in system options form not NOT allow override but I guess the SIP trunk does not fall in the "supported" trunk type category.
Anyone got this working somewhere perhaps.

How/where to check which network element a resilient device is active on? In other words, how to check if a device has failed over and failed back to it's resilient pair.

I thought the locate feature maintenance command showed this with the * next to the network element but I think I might be wrong in that the * shows only what the device's primary network element is.

Tnx

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Where to find CCS trace logfile

I haven't done this in probably 10 odd years - where do I find the CCS trace command logfile.
Thank you

So I'm in the planning phase for a big project.

I need phones to use different routes/trunks depending on their location when dialing the same number. Example phone A dials 9087xxxxxxx and it uses a particular trunk/route. Phone B dials the same number, 9087xxxxxxx but it now needs to use a different trunk/route.

Now how I would normally do this is to use route lists with COR numbers - I think most of you understand this method (I'll explain/elaborate if needed)
This method though won't work for me (I think) in this scenario simply because I'd need almost 70 different routes since there are almost 70 different locations (geo) that I need to cater for.

There will be a single MiVB system hosting almost 3000 users and they are split over 70 odd countries each with their own unique local breakout (non-Mitel gateways) that will be connected via SIP to the MiVB.

Any suggestions and ideas are highly appreciated
