Title: Odd 5330, 5340 trouble on SX200
Post by: Crowtalks on April 16, 2014, 02:34:53 PM
I am fairly new to the SX200 platform but I discovered a weird issue when programming

Set up a few IP phones while programming and two 5330e phones allow me to use the super key while the other 5330e and a 5340e do not. When I changed extensions around, the issue followed the phone...is there something between the SX200 and these phones software that may be going on?

thanks, Jim

Found the issue:

Had to upgrade the system from 5.0.1.whatever to 5.0.2.12. As soon as I upgraded via FTP the 5340E (gig phones) phones downloaded the new firmware and were fine.

Yeah, you have to be on the latest version to use the gig phones properly.
