Mitel Software Applications / Screen Pops
« on: October 11, 2018, 04:27:56 AM »
Hello All,

We're using MiVB and MiCollab and our users would like screen pops in our web based CRM when answering calls - what's the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance!

That's helpful, thanks.  How would I go about getting a USA DDI number set up so we can call out and show a USA number?

We've got MiVB set up in the UK and we're opening an office in USA and we'd like to have a local number on our system - has anyone found a way to do this?

There is only a single member of staff at the moment so it isn't worth setting up a whole system in the US.

Any ideas would be good!

Thanks

Mitel Software Applications / MiCollab replaces spaces with 0

Hello All,

I'm busy testing MiCollab to be rolled out to our whole company but I've noticed that when using click to call from our CRM system it's replacing spaces in phone numbers with a 0.  Eg '01234 567 890' is dialled as '0123405670890' - any ideas how I can resolve it?  It's been suggested that I use Dial String Editor but that obviously has to be done per user and per number which won't go down very well if I have to make 60 users edit every number they call!

Any ideas?

Thanks

That's definitely one of the options but we haven't got staff mobiles at the moment which is why I'm looking at other options.  I may have to review the decision to not give staff mobiles!

Hello All,

I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this but hopefully someone will have some ideas!

We're currently using MiVB and MiCollab and we've got 5330 desk phones with hot desking enabled but we want to move away from using fixed locations for staff and allow them to either work at their desk or move anywhere in the building and take their extension with them.  Has anyone got any ideas how we could allow users to work anywhere without losing functionality such as answering, transferring, parking, retrieving, holding calls etc?  We've discussed dect phones but they aren't terribly user friendly.

Thanks!

Mitel Software Applications / 3300 Telephone Directory on MiCollab
« on: July 18, 2017, 07:51:04 AM »
Is it possible to share the main Telephone Directory from a 3300 to MiCollab?  Users can see the internal extensions in MiCollab but can't see the external numbers that are saved in the system.

Thanks

With the Premium licence you get a PC and mobile login but you can only activate the soft phone on one of them.

Thanks for the reply, the issue I've got is that he can only log into one soft phone at a time.  When he logs in from his phone it logs his PC out and vice versa.
On the user setup it only allows one soft phone extension as attached.

Is it possible to assign 2 extensions with a single MiCollab extension or would I need another one?

We have a user that would like to have a softphone on his PC and Android mobile that are active at the same time but the licencing only allows 1 to be active at a time - does anyone have any ideas how I could set it up so there are 2 softphones working together?

We're running MiCollab 7.3.0.204 and the user has a premium licence.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks

Hello,

We've got a 3300 and we need to get some call recording software that isn't hugely expensive - has anyone got any suggestions or advice?

Thanks
Jeremy
