Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / SIP Trunks - Call Fwd
« on: September 17, 2015, 11:48:25 AM »
Phone is forwarded to external cell phone, when the extension is called and there is no answer on the Cell phone the call comes back to the Corporate Voice mail (ESNA Mail)

They want the call to go to the VM of the Cell phone,   It works fine in my lab on a PRI trunk but not on customer Bell Canada SIP Trunks.

PBX and MBG are up to date with software.

The hotel wants to be able to answer a ringing console from an admin phone.

I can program TAFAS but this will only answer trunk calls, the console can't be part of a ring group so what other option do I have.

Mitel Software Applications / Teleworker Set losing Connection to PBX
« on: March 11, 2015, 10:33:35 AM »
I am building an MBG in the DMZ for teleworkers, the customer tells me all the proper ports are opened up but the Set I have registered keeps losing its connection.
In the event viewer I see a SS read failed error.

Can anyone give me more info on an SS read failed error,  I can't seem find anything in Mitels documentation.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / Embedded Mail
« on: March 06, 2015, 08:40:52 AM »
About 6 months ago I had to FTP to a Sx200Mx to clear a large amount of voicemail distribution messages from the hard drive.  There was a command I had to type from the VXworks command line before I could remove the files.

Does anyone know the command,  I know the letters ftp were part of the command but I can remember to whole command.

When user dials Embedded Mail from a Vtech sip phone there is no response to DTMF.

You can call out to another companies auto attendant and it accepts DTMF from the SIP phone.

10.63.7.50   PBX
192.75.184.80   External Address from MBG
206.80.250.100 ThinkTel

The other IP's are intruders trying to make a connection to the MBG

Yes,    I can see INVITEs on inbound calls, but none on outbound calls

I am running MCD 4.2 SP2 that has a ThinkTel SIP trunk using a MBG for a sip Proxy. The SIP Peer profile options are taken from the ThinkTel SIP COE document.

When dialing out we get dead air, packet captures show the PBX is not sending an INVITE to the MBG to start setting up a call.  CCS Trace shows the call is using my SIP trunk.
