Had a system that all sets and PRI's were up and we could browse to the login screen but would not accept any passwords.  It was rebooted this morning and we can now login.

There was an error scrolling on the Maintenance Port that I have never seen before.  I have attached a screen shot of the maintenance terminal and the logs.

The problem started on the 13th and there are no log entries from the 14th.

I have checked the XNET forms and in the newer versions of SW you can't configure the IP's.

I have two systems at 9.0sp3 that has an IP trunk to a system with 7.2 software.

The configuration looks good and the trunk is established.  When I try and make a call across the trunk i get a out of service message on my phone even though the trunk shows established or idle in maintenance.

CCS Trace shows the PBX is not even attempting to make the call.

The user double clicks the Desktop Icon but the MiCollab App won't load to the desktop but does show that it is running in the system Tray.

They are using the latest version of MiCollab Mobile app and I know they have Android and Iphones but not sure about Windows.

I doubt every phone is using the same version of Android and IOS software.

I have two questions about MiCollab Mobile Client.

The Client is telling me that when a user is on a call with mobile Collab soft phone and another call comes into the cell phone number some users get the option to place the collab call on hold and some users it is done automatically.   

Also the Client is  telling me that if the Collab Client app is closed down and not running on the cell that it will automatically turn itself on if a call comes into the softphone.

I have two versions of Android phone and when the app is closed it does not turn itself on and let me take a call and if I am on a call with the app and I get a call to my cell the call on the app is automatically put on hold,  I don't get an option to put it on hold.


I am not aware of any mitel settings that could affect any of these scenarios.  Is this related to the Software or settings on the cell phone.

Have 240 agents take their desk phones home and register them as teleworkers.

In the office Indirect recording is setup but now that sets are Teleworkers they are considered Direct Recorded sets so this is an unsupported state because you can't have
Direct and Indirect recording on the same sever.


The problem is when agents put calls on hold the recording is being separated to multiple recordings.

Example:  An agent receives a call and puts in on hold,   uses the second line to call out to another agent for help but does not conference the calls.  After hanging up on the second call the agent returns to the caller on hold until the call is ended.

This call scenario creates three separate calls in Management Studio.   The inbound call up to hold,  the outbound call and the second part of the first call after hold are all separate calls in Management Studio.

Does anyone know how this can be combined to one call.  Or al least the call placed on hold to be one call instead of two.

All the users at the site are using the Mobile and Desktop Collab Client and I have had to reset the SIP password for one user multiples times.

It seems the soft phone shows registration failed and to fix I just reset the password. 

I don't know why this is happening,  Why would a working phone suddenly lose its registration?

Sets are using the Same COS and COR. 

Call Forward External and Trunk to Trunk connection are all turned on. 

One set can forward to their Cell and receive DID's calls and another set with the same COS and COR can't.

I have two customers that are now forwarding all their phones to cell phones because of the office Closures.

If you call to an auto attendant and enter the extension number the call will forward out to the Cell phone,  If you call a Person's DID the forward does not work.
Calls to the DID will only forward if there is a system speedcall built and we forward to the speed call.

One client is running release 9.0 and the other is running 7.1 and have the same problem.

We should be able to forward without the need to configure a 100 speed calls.

It seems to be more related to the phone,  I have called Iphones on the Rogers Network and on the Bell Network and the CLID is the same.

I have configured a SIP Trunk for a Client and when a outbound call is placed to a Apple phone we see the Name and the Geographical Location instead of the number.

If I send a 416 number out we see Toronto Ontario, If I send out the 905 number from their other location we see Markham Ontario.   There is still a PRI connected and if I send the call out the PRI to the Apple phone the Call Display shows correctly with name and number.

Why is it different when calling out on the SIP Trunk then the PRI.

Calls to Android and land lines work correctly with proper name and number.

Yes I am using a MBG.    When you add the Network Element I can only put in 1 IP so I guess that would be the signalling IP.

I have to configure Verizon SIP Trunks for a site and they have given me two IP's, one for signaling and one for media.   

Usually I get one IP from a Vendor and not two.

There are no recent SIP COE Docs for Verizon,  apparently Verizon and Mitel have not certified in about 5 years.

Has anyone configured a recent Verizon trunk with two IP's.
