Are you talking about in the 6900 configuration programming in the Office Application Server Programming,  or on the Phone Manager Desktop Client on one of the programmable Buttons?

Correct.  It is abbreviated, missing eh first few seconds of the greeting.  I imagine this can be worked around, bu jsut having the use pause for a second prior to recording the greeting.

All of it is less than ideal, and hopefully someone has a better solution, or Mitel corrects in the next software release.

Most likely in the Phone Manager/Mitel Office Application Server.

Could also be a 3rd party call Accounting Server like Tapit. 

Many options for Call Reports.

Paging phone to phone works, but only 6900 to 6900, not to 5300s. 

Also, it uses a separate Intercom key to do so.  So one key for DSS/BLF, and a second for Intercom/paging to a particular station. 

Hopefully this changes in an upcoming release.

We have heard (and all Mitel marketing docs say) that all 3 premise products are hear to stay: the 250, Connect, and Business. 

The 250 specifically because it is the only system that can support digital devices, which is still a factor.  it is also the only system that can be cost competitive under 25 users.

We have a customer doing this with a legacy Tapit System (Trysis) which used to be attached to their NEC system.  You can also do this in Mitel Call Reporter (Mitel Office Application Suite), if you want something Mitel wills support.

Both can track by account codes.

How is your vendor planning on support 400 phones in a 250?  That is way beyond the maximum user count of a 250.

Here is the data sheet for Call Reporter.  I am sure there is a User or Admin guide that lists full reporting capabilities.    Tough to find on Mitel's website site.

But basically you spin up an Office Application Server that comes with 8 Phone Manager Outlook  Users, and then you add the desired licensing.  Call Reporting, Call Recording, additional Phone Manager users, etc. 

My opinion is that they are dumping a lot of R&D into this product (or at least Xarious is) and it will be the path forward for all applications.

Have you looked at the Calls by Agent Report?  Gives you info on each Agent and Totals for all Agents.

Did you turn DDE on in the Web Portal for the Phantom User?

We do this all the time for clients who have on call techs that rotate.  Each week they update the DDE number for the PHDN to the on call tech.
