Rlyon,

You can program all the phones to be remote phones, As long as the firewall is configured to allow internal to its own public connection you should be able to leave all phones as remote phones even while onsite.

A major problem of this is if there is any issues with the internet all of the phones will go out.

No problem dude! you can also do email_retry -a show to show current messages in queue. Type help in the olm for a bunch of helpful commands. mp = shows message print, netstat -ant = shows all active tcp connections with the system, top = shows process stats, kinda like task manager. these are all pretty safe but be careful in here. Mitel support didn't even know about message print. That works for older systems too!

pickup the handset or click speaker before pressing the msg button? Check your associated devices under the extension and make sure everything in there is programmed correctly (Primarily the voicemail)

First off,

You will need to make sure the 69xx phone has the SIP firmware installed to even attempt this. I believe they come with MiNet. You can test this by booting the phone and going to menu advanced, it will ask for a password. Type 22222, If that works its sip.

You will likely not receive any help on this due to this not being a supported setup. In theory it should work. You should be able to web into the phone and fill out the sip information the user is admin and pw is the same as above.

Good luck!

Jbbts,

Sadly its very unlikely feature requests will make it into production unless you are the top seller for mitel phones. I predict Xarios wont be able to add a feature like this for a long time due to the issues they have with push notifications and how the app functions. We are not pushing the phone manager platform for soft phones or 69xx phones until it is much more reliable and efficient. Did you know if you have a smartwatch that is setup for call control(ring/answer/talk through watch), the app becomes totally unusable? (Dial then crashes) So in order to use the crappy app I need to disable my $400 smartwatch :)

RLyon,

It appears the phone is connecting and disconnecting. This is going to be due to a hardware issue. I would swap the phone with another working phone to see if the problem follows the IP Phone or stays at the current wiring.

Gimitel,

Do you also have the MCS server setup and programmed? Or are you just trying to add this phone as a standard sip device?

Hey Viktar,

I would make sure the pbx can get to gmail's email servers first. Open up ssh to the system and go to "command line". You should see OLM> On the screen. Type "ping smtp.gmail.com" and press enter. You should get return messages. Press CTRL + C to stop and then type "email_retry -a clear"
try leaving another message.

Also make sure allow less secure app access is enabled on the gmail account.

Acejavelin,

I'm not entirely sure if this will work but, If you go to email gateway try setting Email system from smtp to none and back.

Dkimball,

In order to upgrade the system to the latest version you need to have paid for software assurance, then depending on how old your system is you may need to upgrade your flash card. There is no free upgrades. What version are you on? I will see if there are any fixes that may help you if there are any available service pack upgrades.

The gmail should work perfectly fine with no issue.

Happy to help,
-Travis

Acejavelin,

The newest version 6.3.8.99 I think, has a new field to allow any authorization server. You can try setting that to yes if they are at the latest. Office365 has been a headache for so long hopefully one day it gets better. There is also an OLM Field that you can mess with, I'm not sure if its changed with versions but setting spare word data 2 = 32 forces the system to use the email in the email gateway settings and setting it to 0 sets the email to NoRely@(Domain name in IP Settings) This might be causing that error. I wouldn't recommend trying to OLM change. Its been a while since I've used it not sure if its still accurate. Certain versions change certain spare data uses and mitel doesn't tell us.

Good luck!

If you go to voice processor>devices>mailboxes>xxx>e-mail synchronization is the email synchronization level set to enhanced? or forward and copy?

What I normally do/suggest for issues like this that don't use enhanced integration is to setup a free gmail account and use that to send the emails. That way you don't have to deal with office 365's password resets and issues.

Make a new gmail account and save the email and password. Go to security settings and allow less secure app access.

In programming go to system>email gateway

Take note of the info in there in case you want to revert.

Fill in the first 3 boxes with the full gmail address Ex "custvm@gmail.com" without quotes

The smtp port is 587
Smtp server is smtp.gmail.com

Email username is the full gmail address and the password is the one you made before.
