Title: Mitel 5624 - Wi-Fi
Post by: irongladiator on December 06, 2018, 10:31:39 AM
Hello Fellow Mitel Techs,
I'll be at a convention today and presenting the Mitel 5624. I was curious how you go about connecting it to a Wi-Fi SSID that needs a browser interface to enter in the password? if it cannot be done I can use my Wi-Fi Hotspot off my mobile phone.

Thanks,
-Iron

Can't be done... You would have to get the MAC address whitelisted buy the local IT support or WiFi provider.

That said, a lot of "public access" WiFi networks won't allow SIP traffic, so ymmv even if you get it whitelisted.

acejavelin,
Thanks. I kinda gathered as much. I just thought there may have been a super secret squirrel way to do so. I'm guessing it is the same for the WLAN adapter too?

Thanks,
