Ah, I get you. 2500 in my case, dialing that and pressing * works just fine.

Thanks for your help so far, I'm just about there now.

It's a real shame about only being able to notify one phone, and it seems like a bit of an oversight to me to be honest. Fortunately I can deliver emails to a security group and notify all users that way.

Any way, I now see what you mean by 'recall to your voicemail application', so I've done that (and set the Recall timer to a suitable time). Voicemail recording is working and showing on the selected phone (124).

The only bit I'm now stuck on is accessing the mailbox from another phone. For example the user on extension 127 gets an email telling him there is a message in mailbox 888; how does he access that message? I have tried the following -
  • pressing voicemail application button and then * does nothing
  • pressing voicemail application button and # only works if there is a message to listen to (messages are shown on 124 not 127)
  • dialing 2501 takes you to the mailbox associated with the extension number

Thank you both for your reply's.

I'm now managed to set up the Extension List and Hunt group (albeit on 888 as 199 was unavailable  :().

However, I'm struggling with the mailbox bits. I have set up an Associated Mailbox for Hunt Group 888, but I'm not sure what your instructions for the next part mean.

I attach a screen shot of the current settings and I'd be most grateful if you could give this idiot a few more details.

Just to recap, my end goal here is to have a mailbox for a Hunt Group (achieved), with any messages showing on all phones in the HG, not just one (if possible). Each number in the HG also has it's own mailbox.

Also, and this is probably a stupid question, but how do I access the mailbox for this new number 888?!

Hi all,

I'm using the Hot Desk feature and I've been asked to make multiple HD numbers ring at the same time (say 124, 125, 126 and 127), using a new number (say 199). On top of that, the powers that be have requested that this new number have it's own mailbox, attached to each of the HD numbers, which also already have their own mailboxes.

I know the first part is possible, but I don't know how to achieve this. However, I've no idea if the second part is even possible.

Any help and guidance with this would be appreciated.

Has this system been upgraded from older software?  Older versions did not offer Meet Me, and if you upgraded from one without it there was a license charge to add.  Check SOFTWARE LICENSE tab  in left pane, see if MEET ME CONFERENCING says YES

The system was bought new, as opposed to upgraded, so the license was already there. Thanks for the tip on where to check though.

I'm looking at setting up Meet-Me Conferencing on our phone systems, but I can't figure out how to actually join a Conference.

The docs say that

Therefore I assume our licensing (before my time) is correct. To test I've logged in and added a conference, and then ensured that it is visible through DB Programming (System -> Conference-Related Information -> Meet-Me Conferencing -> Conferences).

The docs note that to join a Meet-Me Conference you should

Unfortunately I am the admin and I have no idea! So does anyone know what extension I should dial for the Conference Assistant (or where I would go to set it up)? I aim to test it internally initially, and then I assume I can assign a DDI to that extension to allow outside callers to join once the feature is fully operational.

Hey all,

I'm adding an extra page to our 5360 phones, and the page is to be used to display mobile numbers.

However, I don't know how to program a key to be a system speed dial via html/js, before packaging the app.

Has anyone ever had to do anything like this before?

Hey all,

I'm trying to develop a GUI app, but having to upload changes every time I make one is time consuming (and frustrating if the change doesn't work!).

Is there an emulator available that I can install on my PC for the 5360, so that I can develop apps more easily?

One thing to check - the image names are case sensitive, including the extension. So having a file called
Code: [Select]
Image1.jpg, but declaring
Code: [Select]
Image1.JPG in 'application.htm' will mean it fails.

I realise this is an old topic, but hopefully this may help.

I also found that my app uploaded correctly via the AWS, but it was not shown in DB Programming under 'Manage application files'.

To fix this, you should ensure that in 'manifext.xml' your first line is
Code: [Select]
<?xml version="1.0" ?>. There can be no whitespace or comments in front of it.

Are you actually kidding?! Something works in IE but not in Firefox! That must be a first!!

Can't believe it was so damn simple, but glad it's sorted.

I'm logging in as the 'admin' account, so all permissions are granted.

I am logging in to the address at the bottom of the previous screen shot (192.168.3.130).

And the version I am running is 5.1.0.46.

Hi NTEDave,

I may be getting the wrong end of the stick here with regards to PS-1 then (first time working with phone systems), as I'm fairly sure there is no Base Server. Below is a screen shot which appears to show that the BS is not set up.



I don't know of any other IP that has been set up for the phone system, but that is not to say there isn't any. If I'm able to check this through DB Programming, I'd appreciate a tip on where to look.
