Ok, gonna suggest something very silly but did happen to me once, any chance the recording itself has a 2 second delay?

No. It happened when we did a test records first as well. Same length of delay.

in the Menu propreties , check :

** Maximum DTMF Length : 1
** Timeout  : 1

Note : If the timeout is set to 0 seconds the system defaults the timeout to 3 seconds.

Timeout : The number of seconds that the caller is given to respond with a valid key press as defined in the result.



Mine is set to:
Maximim DTMF Length: 1
Retry Count: 3
Timeout: 3

The main greeting which has no delay is set to:
Maximum DTMF Length: 4
Retry count: 3
Timeout: 3

Should I just copy that one and see if it makes a difference?

As I suggested,”Maximum DTMF Length” should be set to “1” on main menu, otherwise the system is expecting more digits after you press “2”.

Assuming you are using Nupoint Call Director for AA, check the "Maximum DTMF Length" on your main menu if it's set to 1.

Is the NuPoint in MiCollab Server? If yes you will need to modify that in "User and Services"

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Issue with Mitel 6920 Phones

Hi,
Site is running vMCD 8.0 PR3 with mixture of 5320e, 6920 and 6940 IP Phones.
The 6940 and 5320e are working fine, but the 6920s are having issue. When you ring the extension, the phone rings and as soon as you pick it up the phone lost connection and reboot itself, once it reboots it gets stuck at asking for "PIN" page, only a reboot can fix this(The phone will boot up with the extension) This happens to all of the 6920 so far and can't seem to find the problem here.

When this happens below logs are generated in SD log.

Mitel Software Applications / UCA Softphone setup

Hi All,

I am new in Mitel and still green but got assign to set up a new site.

I am struggling to set up softphone for it to work properly.

I have set up a through MiCollab and can see it's in Muti-device User Group, but when I log on to UCA client, in Manage status I can only pick "Send my calls to: My Ring Group (Desk phone) or softephone" the softphone is not showing in My Ring Group somehow.

And when I pick send to softphone and dial in the call just drop.

I am unsure which part did I miss.....
