To whom it may concern:

Everyone, I also received the FPGA failure, when installing a new CF 6.1 SP1 into a HX controller. ,  I allowed it to continue rebooting, I pulled the power and tried again. Same result this time, after my third reboot I allowed it to "trying again Attempt #0 Thru Attempt #8 was the last I saw before leaving my desk for a minute, I returned and now the Display read "Failed to upgrade Replace mainbrd". I thought I had a bad PM board. Powered off system, removed PM board ch#10. Checked for U52 chip, as mentioned above. Reseated card, powered up sys and actually this time it came up online and now working fine.

Not sure how lucky I got but it worked !!!!

I have a different, yet related issue- When users change there presence profile from in the office to out of the office, phone acts perfectly fine Diverting the hunt group calls. They come back from lunch / break , whatever, change there presence back to In the office, phone Accept Hunt group calls displays, and you think all is well, Yet They will not receive any UCD Hunt group calls, Phone doesn't ring. There Not using ACD.

Now the clincher is if someone calls the phone ext. xxx, either by IC or directly off the Auto Attendant  It will "awake / liven the phone" and now hunt group calls start ringing.  Xarios advised v5.0 needed to be upgraded. Upgraded to 5.1.8, didnt' work, was told to upgrade to 5.1.9, Also, didn't work. I found Outlook licenses, don't support UCD Hunt Groups but doesn't explain why its intermittent and not on all phones. Also, customer is going not going to like the notion that they need to buy Professional licenses.
Anyone have any thoughts.

My issue was resolved, From Numbering plan-Facility groups- by moving the Home Area codes ID . Number 1 is for 7 digit dialing, so I took out area code  from number 1 and left blank. Entered my area codes into number 2 and 3.

Hope this helps.

Stlrs83,

This is the answer I got back when one of our technicians ran into that problem.

"The Call History App should have an outgoing access prefix in front of outside numbers (i.e. 92000xxx-xxxx, 92001xxx-xxxx, etc). The reason for this is that the phone firmware did not implement a new command properly so we decided not to implement it. The reason we need to do this for the Call History app is that the digits are sent as if the user pressed the keys one by one, so we would not know up front whether or not it was an internal or external number. Conversely, the call logs feature does not need the outgoing prefix since we have more intelligence as to what the call log type is prior to dialing any digits."

Thanks,

TE

Hello,

my caller ID history on the phone has 92000xxx-xxxx,,, it does not include the area code. and cannot dial out. Using feature code 333, 1 for missed calls then # it only dials the 7 digit number, and unable to dial out.

Stlrs83,

This may be a similar problem as the Call Logs; try this.

Make sure that the Home Area Code(s) are not Restricted under User Group 1 under Numbering Plan. System > Numbering Plan > User Groups > 1: Move your area codes from Restricted to Allowed; this is done through dragging and dropping from one list to the other.

See if that works for you.

Thanks,

TE

Tried that didn't work.
