Hi all!
Anyone knows how can I set the Interconnect restrictions and Intercept handling??
I wanna restrict the incoming calls trough SIP Trunk but only for a few extensions.
Example:
call ----> SIP trunk ----> IVR (...if you know the extension number, please dial it now...) ----> 300 ----> OK (300 is a valid option)
call ----> SIP trunk ----> IVR (...if you know the extension number, please dial it now...) ----> 200 ----> WRONG! (200 is not a valid option, so the prompt sounds again..)
Am I clear?
thanks all in advance!

You have to set up a unique InterCO for (1) Sip Trunks, (2) Phones/devices you can talk to (3) Phones/devices you cannot talk to.
Restrict the SIP trunk InterCO from connecting to the InterCO of the Phone not allowed to talk to.
Next set up a dummy phone/exten number. Forwarded it on an always to a phone forwarded to VM.
Set up a mailbox that says "you can't dial that, Dummy".
Next set up your InterCE form to intercept to the dummy extn number.
This should then forward invalid dialing to the mailbox that says "You can't dial that, dummy."

Thanks Ralph for the quickly answer... please help me with this:

Ok:
InterCO Availabled Phones: 1
InterCO Restricted Phones: 2
InterCO Sip Trunk: 3
Interconnect Restrictions:
From Interconnect Number --------- To Interconnect Number
1 - clear
2 - clear
3 - 2

1st, be sure when you dial your dummy ext you get the message you want.
Then go to the Intercept Handling form and put the dummy number in the section for Interconnected restricted.

I did it but is not working.
I don't understand.

A few minutes ago, I tried call from one simple extension (with InterCO 3) to another extension (With InterCO 2). If everything is OK, the call should be restricted, but the call was established normally.

As a test, can the SIP trunk call ext 200 directly or is it always going through IVR?

I tried both. Same results.
What could be???

What happens if you take a normal desk phone and apply the InterCo of the SIP trunk and then try from the desk phone?
I'd like to take the SIP trunk out of the picture.

Thanks Ralph for your help!
I already did that...
Ext: 150 ---> InterCO 3
Ext: 220 ---> InterCO 2
And I can make calls in both ways...

I'm seem to remember reading a "Known Issue" with interconnect failing on SIP calls.
I've been looking through the KPI docs but can't find it. The link I had from Mitel (April 8) where I think I saw this no longer works.
I'll keep looking.

From Interconnect Number --------- To Interconnect Number
1 - clear
2 - clear
3 - 2
This would allow calls from 2 to be made to 3, but not 3 to 2.
Check your sets to make sure that they have the correct interconnect assigned to the sets in the multiline ip set config form.

Yes, you're right, but it doesn't work! I can call from 3 to 2, that's what I saying.
I dont know what else can I do.

As an experiment, take two phones.
Give them both an interconnect restriction of 10 (or whaterver)
Restrict 10 from 10.
Then tell me if you can call each other.
Also, take some screen shots of the extensions in the Change Attributes form for both extensions.
Then take a screenshot of the interconnect restriction table.
Post these screenshots online.

You are using the intercept not the interconnect
Go 2 lines down and change interconnect to 10 on both phones
-
You need to assign the interconnect number to the set for this to work. You currently have it set to "1" on both sets.

I'm such a dump....
thanks everybody...
