Happens every few days. First I checked the database audit log to make sure nobody connected to the system to do the DB restore. Then I double checked major reset scheduling to make sure that was all disabled. Then I pulled the system log and found these entries at the time of the reset (attached)
Does that mean my DB is corrupt?

b_hackbarth,
Verify that the power to the system is good. We have seen this issue when the system gets brown-outs or a square generated power sine.
Thanks,
TE

Thanks TE, I never thought of that

Looks like they are connected to the battery-side of a APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA.
TE, would this not filter out unclean "waves" from the power company? I thought only more expensive units did that.

There is also the possibility the APC is malfunctioning. We had a rash of that lately. One of those problems that never normally happens, but then we got a flurry all at once. Some were dead batteries. One was straight up UPSicide.

Thanks for the replies! I am having the customer press and hold the test button to force the unit to self test, and see if the Controller resets then.
Hopefully that puts enough stress on the UPS that if it is bad, it causes a failure to connected devices.

b_hackbarth,
The UPS should clean up any brown-outs that comes to it, but if it is happening a lot your UPS may be having issues when it switches over causing problem with the system.
Have the customer unplug the UPS and verify that it stays up and the system doesn't go down.
You could also get a power tester setup on their circuit to see if there are power issues over a week. We actually had one customer that had all of their break room appliances on the same circuit as the phone system. Everyday at lunch time when the microwaves were used the phone system would have problems with power. This is why we state the system needs to be on a dedicated and circuit so that other devices don't cause issues with the power to the system.
Thanks,
TE
