Title: cannot make outgoing calls
Post by: ramachandran on September 23, 2016, 10:47:57 AM
Just installed a brand new Mitel 5312 on a SX 200 ICP. The phone cannot make outbound calls. It seems to have the same cos and Cor as the other phones. Cannot dial out when 9 is pressed for an outside line. I get an outside dial tone but cannot call out. As soon as the number is dialed I get a fast busy signal. Am I missing something..is it on the 5312 phone or on the ICP controller?

It's not a problem with device itself.
If your COS and COR match a known working phone then next be sure it's in the same tenant.
Then, depending on your trunks, you may need to ensure you have a valid DID for it.
