Title: Help Identifying Mystery Module
Post by: matrixnetworks on July 09, 2014, 04:58:01 PM
I have in front of me a Mitel module of some sort that came off of a BCCIII that no one here can identify, I even asked Mitel Repair, and they are stumped as well.
If anyone has ever seen one of these or know what it is (Mitel P/N# would be great) please let us know.

Almost looks like the port that used to be on the underside of the old MX or LX hardware. Can't remember what it was used for though.

That is a Maintenance module.

The Maintenance module allows serial port connection to the BRI application on the BCC III for field maintenance and debug purposes. (If the BCC III is in a peripheral cabinet, the printer serial port on the back of the cabinet is used for access to the application.)
