Will this upgrade give the customer 6 ports of IP networking and the ability to add IP phones?  The v2.x 5000 has 3 ports of IP networking and no IP enabler license.

I heard dealers can still sell additional licenses but will not support it.  Any truth to this?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Mitel 5340 v. Mitel 5320e

I have a client with a v2.4 5000 CS w/ 65 digital phones.  I presented a quote for the MiVoice Office.  One option is reusing their digital phones.  The other is replacing the digital sets with with the latest 5320e IP phones.  They want to share their data cable with the IP phone.  I also want to quote refurbished 5340s (NON "E") sets.  Will the 5320e  sets perform better than the 5340s because of the 1G pass through?

I have a client who has 15+ Axxess systems connected via IP Networking.  They eventually want to upgrade all locations to the 5000 but due to budget constraints can only do one at a time.  Although this is not supported by Mitel what are the issues that they experience?  Thanks.

Customer has v6.0 5000.  They already have 5340 w/ Mitel's integrated headset.  Can they also add the 48 pkm?

Customer is looking to network their existing v3.2 with a v6.0 via point to point networking.  They need to add 30 phones and 1 PRI on a the v6.0.  Do I just need a T-1 in each system to accomplish this?  Thanks.

We are proposing an upgrade for a CS 54000 from v3.2 to v6.0.  They are using the CCS v4.1 on their v3.2 now.  Will the Contact Center Suite v4.1 work on the v6.0 software.  I understand we can't add any licenses to the CCS.  Thanks

Our customer has 2- 5000s v6.0 networked together working as one system.  They have 80 digital  extensions , 16 VM ports, 2 PRI, 32 IP phones on one node.  112 digital extensions, 4 VM ports on the other node.  They also have CSM, 3 Attendant Consoles, and IP network 4 other locations.  The system utilization diagnostics show the CPU is 100% use even after hours when there is minimal activity.  Any thoughts?  Would it be better to split the systems and have them run independently?

We are in the process of upgrading a customer from an older Inter-Tel CS v2.x to the latest Mitel 5000 v6.0.  They had 75 CAT A, 1 PRI, and 1 DEI license.  They bought a new system and flash card.  The old CS had a PEC in it.  We moved it over the new HX.

Did the database conversion to include 64 CAT A, 2 add'l CAT D, and 48 CAT E.

Everything works great except the remote/offsite IP phones.  There is no audio.

Our client has v5.1 and wants to upgrade to v6.0.  They need to pay the re-enrollment fee and software assurance.  Do they need to buy another flash card or can they just upgrade the one they have?

We have hundreds of customers with the Mitel 5000 HX v4.0, v5.0, v5.1, and v6.0 systems.   Many opted not to go with Software assurance.  We did not really push it because Mitel has done so little with the 5000 over the past several years (1 new feature in 2 years).  The 5000 is a very reliable system however we sometimes flash cards becoming defective.  There are issues taking an unused 6.0 flash card and downgrading it to a lower revision.  It was my understanding it was just a dumb card until the license was attached.  Is there another solution besides upgrading all these customers to the v6.0.
