Needed to do this due to a ccs trace to the window causing the browser to crash. Can't leave it open all day.
Mitel advised to do the following instead and so far seems to work a treat.
Thought I'd post it here to be helpful to the community.

Mitel Software Applications / MICC Elasticsearch RAM allocation
« on: February 15, 2023, 04:45:41 AM »
Just been told this by tech support
Putting it out there incase it can help anyone else

This was to resolve performance issues of emails in ignite

To check how much memory Elasticsearch has been allocated (and increase)
navigate to
C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\lib\elasticsearch\tools\elasticsearch-2.4.1\bin
run command
service.bat manager
In the window that opens navigate to Java tab

See my blog with pictures for more info

Device management
MiCollab Client user can now choose what speaker, microphone, and camera devices to use for a MiCollab call from Hardware Settings menu on the footer of the MiCollab for PC Client.
Note: After a MiCollab call, the audio devices will be reset to default devices as selected in your PC's system settings, and the video device will be reset to the default chosen outside of a call.

In Windows 10:
Open Windows Settings,
Select "System"
Select "Sound"
Select "Sound Control panel" (located under Related Settings on the right hand side)
On the Playback and Recordings tabs you have the Audio devices listed and if you here se a green "ball" with a Deskphone hand set icon   then it is this device that will be picked up by the MiCollab client as the default Audio device, if there is no   and just an   icon then that device is selected as both Communication and Default audio device  .

To select the correct device to be used by the MiCollab client as default you right click on the selected device and Select "Set as Default Communication device".
If the menu shown when right clicking the Device do not show any "Set as Default Communication device" then this device is already set as default for this type.

For VMware there are ova files
For hyper v there are iso files of the software

No. There are not different versions for hyper v

Has it been escalated by your maintainer to mitel?
What do mitel say the reason for crashes?

What does Microsoft say?

tried to delete an extension but it failed with error "line key in use"
run commands " busy ext xxxx" then busy reset
State ext then shows extension as "man busy" and you can then delete the extension

best method is to disable PIN sync on the Nupoint
- there is a console command for that
this will mean that any acd agents with nupoint mailbox can set that up without breaking the mivb side when teh password is changed

setup acd micollab softphone user with a pin
dont change it , if you change it you need to redeploy in teh deployment blade

The doc Bill refers to is on KMS ref SO4815, let me know dont have access to it

I'm not sure what you mean by TUI. The email I'm referring to is automatically generated by adding [or maybe it's not the adding, it's the provisioning] a user in MiCollab and looks a bit like this:

The TUI passcode is the one under the password in the Micollab user. The page where you see name and email etc
TUI might be an out of date name.

I believe it sets the HD pin and Nupoint mailbox passcode and now the SIP softphone password

I believe the TUI passcode is now the SIP password on the latest and greatest. You no longer type it in a seperate SIP password field like you used to.
But I dont think that you could logon a SIP user onto a deskphone
Maybe if the phone was in SIP mode instead of Minet mode?
Let me know if it works
