Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Ring Group Calls Ring Users Mobile Phone
« on: February 21, 2019, 01:46:00 PM »
I have a curious issue with a ring group. There are about 15 users in this ring group. The user in question is apart of this ring group. In his profile in MiCollab he has his statuses configured (Desktop phone, Softphone, Mobile phone). If he is logged into his desktop phone, using "in the office" status which is set to only ring his deskphone, everything works fine. HOWEVER, if he logs out of the deskphone, still in "in the office status, calls to that ring group will then ring to his mobile phone even when it's not configured to do so. His Multidevice group has all three extensions in it (XXXXX, X*XXXX, XX*XXX) with XXXXX being set to "present" and other 2 set to "absent". I've had a ticket with Mitel open on this for weeks and they can't seem to figure out why it still rings his mobile phone when he is logged out of his phone and has NOTHING pointing to ring his mobile phone in any setting that is active.

Thoughts?

Yeah it's a ring all group. So just create a multicall ext, add it to the ring group and create a multicall line appearance on the users phone pointing to that ext?

How do i create a button on a phone that monitor's a ring group. We are using 5320e phones. The intent is for a group of users to monitor calls coming into a ring group and answer them if they are available to do so.

This was resolved when Mitel restarted the MiCollab services.

Also, in MiCollab under that user, you need the right UCC bundle assigned on the User tab.

I'll have to double check that but it should be fine as we rename extensions and don't normally touch the UCC bundle after the extension has been built.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Does that user's 'MiCollab Client' profile in the 'Users and Services' page in the Mitel Application Suite have a desk phone extension set?

Yes

Try a PBX Proxy restart on the MiCollab Client server

I don't have this ability as it's their Cloud service offering.

Mitel Software Applications / MiCollab Shows Phone(s) Offline

Hi All,

I'm rather new to Mitel and we run a Mitel Cloud service for all our locations. I've noticed recently after updating an extension in Server Manager, the phone shows offline but i can still call that user and their calling functions work as normal. I've had the user fully log out and i've factory reset the phone and had them log back in to both the phone and to the MiCollab software but no change. I do have a ticket with Mitel open on this but i'm not very confident they can figure it out.

We are running Version 7.2.2.10 if that matters.

Thoughts?
