MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Re: Mitel 5000 problems

Network issues aside, I've seen this happen in the past with high phone counts and low resources.  40 phones isnt enough to to do this unless your using other applications like UCA, MAS, CSM or Praire Fyre.  If your using the BVM for Voicemail and it is ported up, you may need to add additional DSP resources or offload the BVM to a PS-1.  Best to get your dealer involved to help solve this issue.

Has anyone deployed these with a mitel 5000?  It's not listed on the SIP CoE and Systems Engineering cant say if it will work or not.  It's just a SIP endpoint...  I feel it will work but wanted to check here to see if anyone has for sure deplyed one.

Thanks!

For what it's worth, The UCA softphone will work on a 5000 without a VPN or MBG.  There are additional ports that need to be opened up between the IP used for UCA and the 5000.  In addition, the 5000's public IP has to be configured in the PBX node tab.  I have the port mapping layed out nicely in a drawing if anyone is interested.  Just message me and I'll send it to you.

Mitel Software Applications / Re: Quick Conf Email issue.

The primary email address of the user is what is sent when sending out email notifications for an audio audio/web conference.  Just change the primary email address and this will do it for you.  ***please note this will also affect nupoint emails so you will need to work throught his if your using awc/nupoint on a mas.

Hope this helps.
