Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Route DID to external number

I have a DID coming over a PRI.  Carrier is sending me the last 4 digits, in this case 2790.

In the system speedcall form I can program 2790 > 3000(voicemail hunt group) and when I call the DID I reach voicemail

If I program a speedcall pointed to an external number regardless of format 2790 > 7262116... or 2790 > 9726211... or 2790 > 99257262116... or 2790 > 919257262116.. my call does not go through.

What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

Mitel Software Applications / UCA Softphone RED X

Have a user who works remotely and uses UCA.. he has a softphone set up and configured but when he tries to switch the active device on the UCA desktop client, the soft phone icon has a red X.  I did a screenshare with the user and checked the configuration menu within UCA and his SIP Softphone is enabled... he was set to use a headset for Mic/Speakers but I set those to system default and he still has the same issue. So my question is what else would cause this red X?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Embedded VM issue

I have a simple request from a client, reset two embedded VM passcodes

When I try to reset the passcodes (via the user and device config form, or the VM Mailboxes form), and click save, I get an error, "No Matching Record Was Found"

This happens with both mailboxes I am trying to reset.  Any thoughts or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / "CNF CONFERENCE CALL"

Hey everyone,

3300 tech here, total 5000 newb

I have a customer who has one phone that rings several times everyday with "CNF Conference Call" on the display.  When they pick up the call there is no one on the other line.  I don't see any feature codes that could have been mistakenly enabled that would be causing this.., so I'm guessing its related to the 5000's internal conference bridge.

Has anyone encountered this and can point me in the right direction?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Guys,

Hopefully one of you expert Mitel techs can point me in the right direction here.  I think there is a problem with one of the COS timers but I'm not sure which.

Issue:  If user A tries to transfer a call to user B while user B is already on the phone (busy), the call rings twice on B's phone then is recalled to A.  What I would like to happen is for the call to either wait on B's line, or go to B's voicemail.

Hi Mitel Community :]

New Mitel tech here, with a tricky issue I can't seem to figure out.

Here is an example of the issue:

-A call comes in to the front desk, the receptionist(Jane) greets the caller the transfers the caller to Kathy.

-When Kathy's phone begins to ring, it displays Jane's caller ID even though Jane is blind transferring the outside caller to Kathy

**What I want is for Kathy to see the outside caller's ID so she is aware she is going to be speaking with a client, not another employee


What I have done so far is manipulated the COS settings for the IP Phones and Trunks.  I've set display held caller ID on xfer to YES for both, and set display ANI only to NO for both.

Can anyone provide some guidance?
