MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / 5000 Error Log Info
« on: June 27, 2016, 04:26:04 AM »
Hi, Had a customers 5000 go down last week and after a while it came back up. The customer said he had a problem with a switch and it brought down a lot of other things on his network, but when he rebooted the 5000 as a stand alone system it still had problems. Below is a copy of the error logs and I was hoping someone could explain the M999 errors and the system reset type = code change.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / ACD Agent DSS Key
« on: May 29, 2015, 10:09:38 AM »
Have ACD set on a customers system and the managers user the dss keys to see who is on the phone and who is not. My worry is that the extn number under the key is not the ACD users id but the extn number of the phone. As long as the right user log's into the right handset with their ACD id could this be a good way to see who is on the phone for each ACD group..

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Using Phantoms to forward to mobile.
« on: March 31, 2015, 07:04:56 AM »
Hi, trying to set up a group that rings a collection of extns then rings a mobile. I can see how this is done by our other engineer has already set up a group with all these settings. The only problem is i can't see where to add the mobile number to the phantom and how to get it to forward to the mobile.

So to review, i can set the group up and put the phantom in as the recall, but can put the mobile number against the phantom and forward it off.

Is their a line that i can use to show which acd agents are logged in for which group via the maintenance commands?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Pick up of a ring group
« on: February 09, 2015, 06:37:16 AM »
Hi All, I have a problem with pick ups off an ring group, here is the set up. Incoming call hits a MLAA, then rings the ring group, users sitting near the group would like to pick the call up but can't by any of the typical means, eg 8 or pick up key. All handsets on this floor are in the same pick up group. We have about 14 handsets and 4 groups so there is alot of ringing on this floor, also users can't pick up the call via a dss key for the user that is ringing as well.

Many Thanks.

Working on a 3300 that use's the system speed calls as a ddi table, but i'm thinging then that they can't change the ringing for night service in this setup.

The DDI doen't have an entery in the call route table, so how can i include it into the call route table so I can point the call into a VM at night or is there a better way to do this.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Headset Question
« on: July 11, 2013, 12:20:19 PM »
Apart from it being faulty is there any programming steps needed to allow the headset to answer calls by pressing the button on the headset. The headset is the Mitel one that comes with the cordless module.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Ring setup reroute question
« on: July 11, 2013, 12:17:57 PM »
Hi, looking to set up an extn so its ddi/did rings and then diverts to a different VM from the user. So an incoming ddi/did call rings the extn but doesn't divert to his vm box but to a company one.

Is this possable?

Just to expand on this, it's a site that rents office rooms, in this room there is 6 users, each with a ddi/did. One is the reception phone and they want her handset to ring for each ddi/did as well as the user for that ddi/did. Simple enough, but they also want each ddi/did to call reception and then fall back to the receptions mail box. The way it was sold was with six handsets and one mail box by the rental company to the users.

cheers
