Title: Limit number of inbound calls
Post by: cholzhauer on July 16, 2020, 09:19:37 AM
Using NexVortex for SIP calls, there are a total of five lines.  I would like to restrict inbound calls to three. NexVortex is unable to do this, they say I have to do it on my phone system.

Which option do I need to change on the phone system to limit the number of inbound calls to three?

I'm not sure you can do this on a 250, it has to be done at a network/carrier level.

You can’t do it on the 250. A real carrier could create a three-line hunt group for inbound calls.

cholzhauer,

The MiVO-250 isn't able to do this on its own, but if you got a channel bank you could do it with that; this is how we setup this function for radio stations.

Sorry,
