Title: Reprogamming handset 'system' buttons.
Post by: CompuSolutions on August 01, 2017, 01:43:13 AM
From  the manual:

"Each phone has the following buttons that are programmed by the system administrator and cannot be reprogrammed;/... "

Does this mean that as System Administrator I can reprogram these buttons?  If so, where in the Programming application can I find these?

Compusolutions,

You will need to be more specific on which keys you are referring to.

Thanks,

TE

I am referring to the top buttons on the phones that do not seem to be included in the keymap settings for programming.

5340e these are the top 4 buttons (4 on the left and 4 on the right)
5360 same as 5340e but obviously touchscreen buttons rather than physical buttons

The are Soft(Dynamic) keys. They can't be reprogrammed.

Guys,

I think you can reprogram what those do with the HTML application, but I wouldn't suggest it even if you could.

CompuSolutions if you are really that hardcore about it though you can call Mitel and find out for sure how to do it.

Thanks,

TE

Cheers for the info.  Have not had time to even check back on this and it wasn't a high priority.  If I hear any different from Mitel I will post back on here :)
