Thank you for your responses.

It looks like I have exactly the same problem as this thread: http://mitelforums.com/forum/index.php?topic=8535.msg37507#msg37507

The only difference is that I only have one controller.

Thanks,
Renante
That is not the same at all, the thread you are referring to had an issue specifically because of data sharing between two controllers.

Let's back up here... What software version are you on and is this a vMCD or a physical controller?

Pardon me if I misunderstood you. I have exactly the same problem as this:

.....

The "secondary" controller is having the issue.  Time is not synching, nor can I manually set the time.  I can set Synchronize to Disabled but when I try to change the actual time I get an error, Generic Forms Application Server:Internal Database Error!

Also, in the software logs I'm getting error CHUB SERVICE PROVIDER CHubSP:ReadSysId()->iButton Device appears to be missing

I have some VOip phones on this controller as well as a peripheral cabinet that all seems to be working fine, albeit with the incorrect time.

Thx for any insight.

The only difference? Mine is the primary controller. That's the issue right there. Can't change the time and I get the same error "Generic Forms Application Server: Internal Database Error!"

Same thing too, i get the same CHUB SERVICE PROVIDER CHubSP:ReadSysId()->iButton Device appears to be missing in the log.

Date and time was originally connected and synchronised to NTP. It was working fine before until we had a major power failure. When it restarted, it displayed the wrong date and time.

Hello,

Our 3300 controller is having a problem with getting the time correctly. It doesn't connect update with NTP and it can't be changed manually. Rebooted several times, no success.

Changed it via Group Admin Tool, nothing happened.

Tried to change it via System Properties > Sytem Settings > Date & Time, still no success. It just says "One or more errors were encountered during form validation".

Is there a way to hide the time on the phone extensions?

Tnanks,
Renante

@johnp. Thanks for your advise.

After all the misery in finding what really went wrong it turned out that the main problem was the ISDN line. We contacted our ISDN provider and all is working fine now.

However, i am still getting the I-button problem and the incorrect time. Will try to figure this out with a tech. But, at least we can make outbound and inbound calls now (this is all the matters).

Thanks for all you help. I really appreciate it.

@Dogbreath. I was asking because I am trying to figure out what the problem is and probably would be able to fix it on my own. No more service contract from vendor so we need to pay for a fee to fix it. But while it's true that we are able to pay for the service, technical support in this country is painfully terrible! It doesn't hurt if I ask for advise from the experts here..

Okay so I checked the logs, and I got this response after executing the commande "SHOW FAULTS ALARMS"

Thanks guys.

The equipment hasn't been moved ever since so i would not suspect that the identity module is loose.

However, i followed @johnp's advice and checked the license form. Everything is there but the Hardware Identifier is blank. I tried to change record and I get this error "The Hardware Identifier has not been correctly installed. License and Options can not be programmed."

Is this a hardware problem?

BTW, Since the time isn't the same as our local time (it used to be). It's supposed to update automatically via NTP server. So, I played around a little bit and tried to manually change the Date and Time but I get this error "Generic Forms Application Server: Internal Server Error!"

So I browsed and read somewhere in the forums and found similar problem about ibutton missing suggesting to do a restore. Is this worth a try?

Thanks!

Hello,

Please help.

Our Mitel CX 3300 has been working great for very long time but suddenly, it refuses to make outgoing nor accept incoming calls. Calling internally is working fine. So I contacted our ISDN provider to see if there's a problem and they told me that line is OK and advised to restart the PBX. They said line is but not sychronised and told me that there might be a problem with the T1/E1 module.

Before i restarted the PBX, the log showed that Digital link was absent. After I restarted, problem is still the same. But this time, log showed:

CHUB SERVICE PROVIDER CHubSP.cpp;1180 CHubSP::ReadSysId()->iButton Device appears to be missing

Internal calls fine but still can't make calls outside nor receive call from outside.

I noticed, the time on the IP phones are 3 hours ahead of the PABX!

What seems to be the problem?

How can I fix this? Is there anything I can do to fix this? Should I call my vendor?

Thanks!

Hello,

Is there a way to generate a report of missed calls for an extension from a certain date using the Communications Director web console? Currently, I only generate missed calls by manually going to the extension itself using the Call History button.

Thanks!

UPDATE: Okay so we recently had a power outage thereby forcing me to reboot everything including the PBX box. And to my surprise, everything went back to normal! I have no idea what happened but I'm so glad that everything's fine now.

Anyone experienced the same issue?  :)

Dear Everyone,

I recently got this error message from my PBX. My phones are working fine. Can receive and make calls without problems. But, voicemail no longer works.

Database Status error
Alarm Level: Major

VTG_VM_ERROR
Alarm Level: Major

I called an authorised Mitel tech to troubleshoot but didn't help much as of the moment. He says, might change the Hard Drive and do a restore.

On the other hand, our original vendor no longer supports Mitel. So I am now trying to coordinate with a new vendor to move our license as their new authorised partner. Do I really need to do this to get full technical support from Mitel?

Can you anyone enlighten me?

Thanks!

Thanks ralph... And i am so relieved! Just a few minutes back everything's restored. Thanks a lot for all your inputs.   :) :) :) :) :)

One of our tech guys is saying that it might be a T1/E1 card problem. However, I am unsure about this. I checked the Hardware modules form an I can see the card there. Could it be that there might be something wrong with the programming of the Digital Trunk?

My head is about to explode now and I am really confused.  :-\

Please see screenshots for the error log.

Can anyone guide me.  :'(

Okay so we've managed to install the software back. but we're still having problems receiving/making calls. The T1/E1 module only gives a solid RED status.

I got this error message from the maintenance log:

Programming mismatch for ASU on CIM: 1, installed: UK COMBO, programmed: UNKNOWN

Any ideas?

Okay. So I managed to get a copy of the PBX log but I really don't understand it. But I do get these error messages:
