adding cluster and sharing data isnt that hard
then making things resilient will take some work
its easy to change extensions , but depending on call flows not everything may work when primary system is offline

its always been my experience that the phones work best when they are matched to the Pabx
3rd party sip phones arent great on mitel , i suspect the  same will be for cisco ( changing 53xx to sip mode)
pain to setup - poor feature set , hard to maintain , unhappy end users

get a phone that is proven to work with a known set of limitations and life is much easier for all

sounds like a party passthrough - not supported for all carriers - IN AU we have to proxy via MBG and use adapation to adjust the sip setup to get it to display

yeah I agree make it simpler
the HCI group is only used for Message Wait
extension should be fwd to voicemail not HCI
if existing voicemail line group has call director enabled , you dont need a seperate port
you could have mailbox for ring group number and just overflow that to voicemail , dont need a nametag

yes and am i correct in assuming that you have restored the AX backup to it but have some issues.
if so can you create a new cx backup and then restore it

i think its upset because it had config thats tied to a card that doenst exist

long shot but have you tried a fresh backup ( of the CX) and then an immediate restore)

backup restores normally purge data thats not valid ( long shot because you have sort of done that already)

only other think i can think of is export the forms , clear database and import them again manually

UPIQ is an inqueue workflow so not all options ( tools) are available to it

-havent tested but you can probably do a variable compare and check whether <<UPiqPosition>> = 5
On Match could play a prompt warning them that they are being forced out to voicemail
Then interflow to send it to the voicemail - would have to send to an associated extension rerouted to the mailbox

there are no menu options so you cant ask them to press a digit to select going to voicemail

yes you will need to change it to trunk side
will need adequate taps on the MBG used for sip proxy
the ASC will also need enough port licenses to cover the trunks

trunk side will record whole call including ringing , ivr messaginge tc
wont record internal calls
on the integration for the cti, the MBG  sip trunk should be active and the MIVB shouldnt be active.
in the monitored points you set the SIp peer name and dont list any extensions

then under the 1st tenant you can set n extension block list to block the extensions you dont want to be recorded
- will have to list EHDU and sip softphones as well as base extensions

53xx sets Applications Loading error after upgrade to MIVB 9.2 due to Device Certificate Document ID SO6706

This issue is caused by the device certificate and is still under investigation by our design team.

system works as follows
call arrives at ACd path
- if no agents available ( not on make busy or on a call)
     - after 1st delay timer , call is conferenced with 1st rad
        at the end of that RAD a specific MOH file can be selected or left at the Default source

     - after the 2nd delay ( starts at the end of RAD1, not from the start of the call)
         call is conferenced with the 2nd rad
         at the end of that RAD a specific MOH file can be selected or left at the Default source

     - after the 3rd delay ( starts at the end of RAD2, not from the start of the call)
       call is conferenced with the 3rd rad
       at the end of that RAD a specific MOH file can be selected or left at the Default source

     - after the 4th delay ( starts at the end of RAD3, not from the start of the call)
       call is conferenced with the 4th rad

     - then there is an option to repeat last RAD and a repeat timer

the above is all you can do

- only thing i can think of is to perhaps add some MOH to one or more of the messages and use that as the MOH source between the  4 slots

- 1st RAD is message 1
   - then default MOH
- 2nd RAD is message 2
  - then MOH file that was message 3 + moh - this will repeat to the caller and wont start at the beginning every time
- 3rd RAD is message 4
  - then MOH file that was message 5 + moh - this will repeat to the caller and wont start at the beginning every time
- 4th RAD is message 6
   - then default MOH
last rad can be set to repeat

other than that ( or the queue overflow option specified before ) i dont believe there is another method to have more than 4

what version of IE were you using ?
you probably need  IE 8 or 9
i normally use a Virtual XP Pro machine for troubles like this

On some of our sites i but branding on the resilient with a yellow background
OR leave it off completely
when phone goes resilient , branding updates and user knows something has happened

check the cos for the console - NOT the softkey but the actual extension used
- Set under station attributes
- might be something like ringing timer

teleworker is direct mode always as the RTP is forced to stream via the MBG

the key setting is that the MiVCr needs to be set to direct mode and remove indirect from ICP on MBG
any internal fixed phones will have to be registered to a lan only MBG as the SRC.
