To be very basic, in system speed calls you will probably find the last 4 or so digits of your main number appear and are pointed to voice mail, just change it so it goes to the pickup group instead, hope this helps.

I will try to explain the issue better when I have more time but check the cli tables you have to configure the tables for incoming and outgoing with the correct digits, otherwise sip platform will reject call. I will have a look at a working one if I get time..

Hi , I have a couple of suggestions as I have had problems before on the dect phones although mine have all been one way transmission.

Check software level on handsets and upgrade if required.

Try plugging dect stand directly into controller not via phone and then test.

Check for vlan issues.

Thanks for replys folks, I have replaced the drives on both systems with new 16gb ssd's and reloaded from backups, all ok now.

I have had two sites recently that both run 4.2 software (10.2.2.15) with SSD, both after power custs have come back up with no customer info on it. I was just wondering if this is known issue or if anyone else has experienced it.
When checking the DBMS it shows the flag as on.

Sounds ok to me But go to voice mail in main menu, not under users and devices,

Go to voice mail users, search for your extension,

If it exists then check that extension number and mail box number match.

Then go to call routing and make sure calls route to voice mail on no answer and busy.

Also make sure mail box has been set up, dial voicemail from extension, put in default pin code and follow instructions to activate mailbox.

To test it make extension busy then call it , call should route to mail and give correct anouncement.

Gents. after a spot of advice, had a hdd fail on an MXE 3 and needed to change HDD 2.

When I put in new drive from Mitel (same part code) it can see it but flashes SOS.

Am I right in thinking this is caused by drive size mis match or am I missing something?? ??? ???

Gents, not sure if this applies to this problem but had a recent issue when logging in to release 6 software and then logging into 4.2 , basically on 4.2 ie would not display page correctly after logging in to rel 6.
Fix was to clear cache on ie, looks like rel 6 installs a cookie or certificate in ie which causes issue going back to rel 4.2.

My problem was I had 192.168.1.2 set in favourites and unless you take tick out of box in ie8 the cache for favourites is not cleared when you delete the rest..

Yes and yes.   I have been asked and have done it.

Set one up about two years ago, not 100 percent sure how from memory but do remember I used dummy acd Q with rad for the message.

Basically I think call was routed to Q with no agents logged in, Then once message had played calls routed to ring or hunt group.

Will provide more info when I get chance to check setup

Tried all the obvious setting in trunk cos and extension cos but nothing seems to male a difference.

I have tried same senario at other Sip sites and all do the same, so now thinking this is either caused by the way we set them up and is designed to work this way. Still looking but any suggestions welcome. ::)

Hi all, I have a site that recently went over to SIP and they tell me that since then they lose the cli from the display on the handset when they initiate a call transfer.

Basically call comes in and is answered on a 5330 the calling number is displayed on the 5330, as soon as they push the transfer button the display changes to (Private call on hold) and the number disappears.

They state that this did not happen when they had isdn30. The number stayed on the display.

Suspect it showed something like 070123456765 on hold

Any ideas welcome.

Hi Guys, probably as easy one but cant seem to find answer easily.

If I have a release 5 system and need to add licences to it but it does not have internet access how do I do it.

I know I can do it via software installer and a laptop with internet access via wifi but this involves a reboot, how do I do it with rebooting it.  I have AMC access.

Sorry not sure,had a soft error on one drive recently, went back 3 weeks later to check and possible change drive  and alarm had cleared, no fault showing and been fine now for 2 months..
