Hi,
We are having trouble presenting Caller ID to our handsets. As far as I know, all options are set correctly and Caller ID is enabled on the physical line.
What are the key points/areas to look at? Does it need to be done on the Trunk and ACD COS??
Thanks,
TB

What kind of sets are they? are you presented with a toggle key?
In the meantime, you need to make sure that the following is set in the relevant Class of Services:
Trunks (set to yes)
DASS II OLI/TLI Provided
Trunks (set to no)
ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk
Display ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only
Display ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called number
Sets (set to yes)
DASS II OLI/TLI Provided
Display ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only
Display ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called number
Sets (set to no)
ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk
If this still does not work, make sure that your provider is sending the CLI digits, do some CCS traces.

Mitel100,
Trunks (set to no)
ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk
Are you shure about this?
I would think you'd need to set the trunks to deliver CLID.

All the above is set to Mitel recomendations.

Hi Mitel100/Ralph,
All the options you suggested are set correctly (on Trunks, sets and ACD agents), however still no CallerID.
Does it make a difference that these phones are ACD agents?
I know that Caller ID is being presented as I have tested it prior to getting to the Mitel box. Is there a possibility that the Mitel hardware does not support Caller ID? Is there someway to check this? Lines are coming in on the 12 analog lines in the Mitel box and 8 lines on 2 x ASU II's. Regardless of if they come in via the Mitel box or the ASU II, Caller ID is not presented.
Regards,
TB

Make sure that the COS above is set to the ACD agents aswell.
A few questions:
What phones are you using for your ACD sets?
When you run your CCS trace, are you seeing the incoming CLI?
-
I'm sure you must have checked this, but are you sure that CLID is being presented from the CO?
You can put you butt set on the line and listen for the little burst of data between the 1st and second rings.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your suggestions.
It turned out to be the CLASS Trunk option under CO Trunk Circuit Descriptor Assignment. Once this was changed to Yes, Caller ID was presented.
Note: This option does not say it requires a reboot, however it did not work until our system was rebooted. **

Thanks for the update.

How do you enable caller id without using the DASS II OLI/TLI Provided option?
