Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call Forward External

I have two customers that are now forwarding all their phones to cell phones because of the office Closures.

If you call to an auto attendant and enter the extension number the call will forward out to the Cell phone,  If you call a Person's DID the forward does not work.
Calls to the DID will only forward if there is a system speedcall built and we forward to the speed call.

One client is running release 9.0 and the other is running 7.1 and have the same problem.

We should be able to forward without the need to configure a 100 speed calls.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call Display to Apple Iphone

I have configured a SIP Trunk for a Client and when a outbound call is placed to a Apple phone we see the Name and the Geographical Location instead of the number.

If I send a 416 number out we see Toronto Ontario, If I send out the 905 number from their other location we see Markham Ontario.   There is still a PRI connected and if I send the call out the PRI to the Apple phone the Call Display shows correctly with name and number.

Why is it different when calling out on the SIP Trunk then the PRI.

Calls to Android and land lines work correctly with proper name and number.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Verizon SIP Trunks

I have to configure Verizon SIP Trunks for a site and they have given me two IP's, one for signaling and one for media.   

Usually I get one IP from a Vendor and not two.

There are no recent SIP COE Docs for Verizon,  apparently Verizon and Mitel have not certified in about 5 years.

Has anyone configured a recent Verizon trunk with two IP's.

In the All Calls I Can View section in management studio numbers are doubled for outbound calls.

i.e,   Instead of just seeing the digits dialed 9905XXXXXX,  you would see 9905XXXXXXX9905XXXXXXX

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / AT&T PRI on a 3300

I have a customer that a location in Canada and a Location in Carolina and the Carolina site is switching to a PRI from AT&T.

I haven't configured a PRI from AT&T and don't know what settings I will need.  Does anyone have a doc with the options I will need to enable.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / DTMF Tone Volume

Have a customer that has analog trunks from the PBX to Alarm panels for monitoring alarm systems and they are asking me if there is a way to increase the DTMF tone volume from the PBX.

I haven't found anything that would suggest I could make changes to how DTMF tones are sent out of the PBX.

Mitel Software Applications / One Way Audio on Teleworker

I have a teleworker set connected to a MBG that is in the DMZ.  I have a PBX and MBG SRC for call recording on the Internal network.

If I login to my Teleworker MBG and configure my set to register with the SRC I have no problems with one way audio. If I point my set to the PBX audio is not getting out to the teleworker set depending on the type of call.   If I call an extension on the PBX I have two way audio,  If I call the embedded mail or call out on the SIP Trunk I have one way audio.

I believe the firewall is configured correctly because I have two way audio if my set is registered to the SRC or if I call an extension.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call Display on Multicall Keys

Have a single copper trunk that rings into a 5340 set. There are Multicall Keys of the main answer point on two other 5340 phones.

Call display works fine on the main phone but no call Display on the Multicall Keys on the other two set.   

Display Caller ID on Multicall/keylines is enabled,   and all three phones have the same COS.

I have a client that has ordered one PBX and on the day of the install the told us that they have two Property Management systems.

I suggested they order Precidia Ipockets with two Serial Connections (Ipocket Duo).  We have programmed the Ipocket and can connect to the first port and check in rooms.  When we connect to the second and try to check in a room we get an error that a connection is already open.

Looks like the Ipocket is trying to open two Telnet sessions and the PBX will only accept on connection to port 15374 and 6830.

Has anyone had to deal with this problem,  I am looking for suggestions.

I have  a PRI QSIG link from a Mitel 3300 Release 6.0 SP3 to an Avaya Red.   Currently calls from an Avaya phone to a Mitel phone work fine but calls from Mitel to Avaya fail.

Last night a tech made a test call and he got a busy and all the channels were Idle.  When I do a CCS Trace while making test calls I can see the Mitel trying to make the call but the Avaya does not see the call.

Mitel Software Applications / HP DL360 Gen9 Server

I am trying to install MSL 10.5 on a HPDL360 Gen 9 server and am having all kinds of problems.

I have gone through the MSL Qualified list and enabled Legacy Bios Mode.  I was eventually able to install MSL 10.1 from a USB stick but after install is done and the server reboots it will not boot from the Hard Drives.

I have also setup the Logical Array using RAID1  before starting the Install of MSL.

I am building a Virtaul MiVoice Business Express and I have licensed the MSL and the MiVoice Business tab shows the PBX side is addressed and I can ping the address of the PBX.

When I browse to the PBX address it times out.

I have set my default CPN in the SIP Peer Profile to 519-426-5870.  There is no CPN substation being done on the Profile, Associated Directory Number or in the User and Services Form.

I can't seem to find out why I am sending out different numbers for outbound display.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Qsig link from Mitel to Avaya 450

I have a PRI Qsig link programmed between a Mitel with rel 6.0  and an Avaya 450 and I can make calls but the audio is terrible.

Any Ideas?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Time Format

I have two digital and two IP phones that are showing 24hr time format on the set and the rest are 12hr format.

Running release 6.0 SP3,  I know you can adjust times of phone with network zones but can't find out how these phones are using the wrong format.

I have been through the menu's in an IP phone and didn't find anything about setting the time format.
