MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Teleworker phones restarting
« on: February 05, 2019, 11:30:15 AM »
Now that I have teleworker phones working, I am seeing some of the issues teleworker users on other systems have reported but I've never seen.

One of my new teleworker phones and one on another system that has been in use for a while are reinitializing.

Not a total restart, but reloading the buttons and loading applications message.

I had this happen while I was in the middle of a call. The display on the phone refreshed, saw the applications loading message, no audio until it completed this process except for an odd alarm sound, and then resumed the call.

Has anyone else had this problem before?

Thank you for the tips.

My vendor is a waste of oxygen.

As a test, we set an any/any policy for the base, expansion, and processor server. This worked and now we are narrowing down the ports used. Despite enabling all the ports you had given in a previous posting, nothing worked.

Now I'm trying to get my Communications Server/Phone Manager Mobile to work. Any/any still, but the mobile app will not connect to the server.

Despite having a MiAccess account, I sat on hold for an hour with Mitel only to be told I'm end user scum because I'm not a partner and I'm not allowed to have access to the eDocs site. Could someone please send me a link to where I can get documentation on setting this up?

Yesterday we set up NATs for the base server, expansion module, and processing server. I think I put the NAT IP's in all of the right spots but nothing has changed. I have no audio but can register a phone, get MWI, etc.

Do I need to have a MBG?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Teleworker Configuration
« on: January 28, 2019, 01:47:29 PM »
We are trying to setup teleworker phones but we are experiencing the common one way audio issues. I am running MiVoice Office 250 6.3.6.21.

We have 2 MiVoice Office 250's. 1 is configured as a remote node.

What I would consider our primary system that is connected to our PRI's, an expansion module, and a processor server. I have it NATtted and configured like the other 5000's I have in other offices. This is the only system with the expansion module and processor server. Of course this is also the only one with one-way audio issues.

I came across a thread that said we need to NAT the base server, processor server, and expansion module.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on this or give me some advice?

Do I need to setup an MBG? I would also like to provide my users access to Phone Manager features on their mobile phones.

HELP!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Turn off DEE for all users
« on: October 22, 2018, 01:10:18 PM »
After a reboot of my MCS, all attached users' DEE was enabled. I have users without DEE enabled but it it is now showing as "on" if I login to the user portal as them.

Is there a way to send a 362 to all of my IP phones (5320/5320) even if I have to do it from each 250 controller?

I have no support available to me for this so any advice would be helpful.

We just had 2 MIVO 250's installed in our office and it has been a nightmare.

Do you have to export/import to all of your multiple 250's every time you make a change or add/delete a phone on one of the other?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Call routing table question

Is there any way to export the call routing tables into a CSV or other format?

We have two Mitel MiVoice Office 250's connected to (2) PS's. We also have 2 voice VLANs too. How can I configure our system to register phones independant of which PS they are built on and independent of which VLAN they are connected to?

I saw on our 5320/5330 phones that there is a CP1, CP2, CP3, and CP4 settings. If the PS that shows as CP1 is the primary for the voice VLAN, is there a way to make the other PS be CP2?

I can't find much about how to cluster these and our Go Live on this new system is in a week.

The root problem is we need (2) 250's to cover all our users in one office and some users were built on one PS and some on the other. I want to be able to activate a phone regardless of which PS it was created on. I have no ACL's between VLANs.

Please give me some advice since I'm not allowed to talk to Mitel.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / MiVoice Office Management
« on: December 21, 2017, 10:07:22 AM »
My company is getting ready to deploy MiVoice Office to about 14 branch offices, largest is about 400 phones/users.

We have already deployed MiVoice Business to two offices and use MiCollab for VM, AA's, HD user/device configuration.

Our vendor has been selling us on using Mitel Phone Manager. Is there a central management package for the MiVoice Office system? With MiCollab, we are using AD integration to create new users, voicemail, etc. For the MiVoice Office it appears that I will have to login to each office's MiVoice chassis individually for moves-adds-changes, VM, and anything else.

What products are available from Mitel to do these kinds of things if you're not going to continue down the MiVoice Business path?

I am a Mitel newbie, but managed a much larger Cisco VoIP system.
