i have an vMCD which is working fine for outbound calls to a gamma SIP
We have once test number 441913000238 and want to route all the inbound calls to a series of extensions 1001-1016 on one ring group for now.
We an inbound call comes in we are just getting a 404 from gamma and the following trace
17:34:03 RIL DPN PEER Gamma 95 2C ISRM_I
;10;*3#*19*P#*58*Ca*1*P#*58*CW*@@@@@@@@@IixQ`#
17:34:03 RIL DPN PEER Gamma 95 1D SSRM_C *50*07766190463#441913000238
17:34:03 ROL DPN PEER Gamma 95 2 CRM/CIM ;0;
any offers of help please?

CRM/CIM 0 is number unobtainable so the translation from 441913000238 to the ring group number is not right.

so I have one inbound number and extensions 1001-1016 all I need to do is translate the external number to the internal extensions but have not idea which settings in mcd are related.

your SIP trunks will reference a 'trunk service number' this refers to a table number in 'trunk atributes' form. In here you can set how many digits of DDI you wish to absorb and any digits to insert. I would recommend absorbing 9 digits (based on the trace detail) and inserting 1 (a 1 not 1 digit). So absorbing 9 digits leaves you with the last 3 (238) plus inserting a 1 gives you 1238 which you would either make as your ring group pilot number or create a speedcall 1238 and set the actual number to be the pilot number of your group (say 1000).
Hope this helps
