appShutdown on the serial seemed to work, although it restarted instead??

I will spend some time over the weekend setting it up.

Ahh it's wired etx , I only wanted to use it so I could have the laptop in one port and a phone in the other whilst testing. No worries on that one.

Help Tab Says

If i go to "maintenance and diagnostics > Maintenance Commands > All"

and put "shutdown" in the command box (Submit)

Will boot it up tomorrow evening.

I am logged in as the default "system" user

I looked under network and it only had the one interface.


Will find the version number.

1) How do I list the contents? Upload ? Can't see any file
upload in the gui.

2) I can't see any options to enable it, set it up?

3) I was wanting to find the version i have?

4) shutdown. It's not listed in the maintenance commands help on the system.

Just got myself a 3300cx  to have a play with ( used cisco, avaya and free pbx)  and a have a couple of opening questions.

1) does the 3300 act as the TFTP server for firmware?
2) how do I confiugure the second ethernet port ?
3) how do i get the software version , I think its quite old.
4) how do i shutdown, "maintenance commands"  - "Shutdown" errors...

Sure there may be more allong the way.

So if it's older than 4.1/4.2(??) then just delete the DB file.
If it's after 4.1/4.2 (??) just run the reset command.

So I am only realy stuck if it's he ?affected? version

I am awiting deliver of a 3300CX to use for some home experimentation.

is it correct that removing

/db/database/files/usrprfle.db

Via the console will reset the user database to default?

If so what is the default admin login?

Get phone into SIP mode.

Connect to web interface.

browse to "Admin Tools > user list config"

Add a new user

Set user ID, Display Name, SIP Authorisation Username to the asterisk extension number.
Set  User Authentication Password to the asterisk extension password.

Set SIP Proxy Server & Sip registration server to the asterisk IP.

SIP On Mitel / 5325 won't load sip firmware.

I have upgraded 7 of 8 5325's to SIP with little fuss.

one however will not do it..

it first complains "L2Boot_5325........" ( this is also reported as not found by my TFTP server.

The TFTP server also complains about "BootIP5325...." not found.

The phone loads the SIP file up to "514" then complains "SIP MAIN TOO BIG" and then reboots.

Any ideas on what's up with this last one?
