Just curious: has anyone ever had a Solid State Drive fail on a 3300?
How about one on anything?

havent installed many but the ones I have are ok. That said the SATA drives that I have installed around the same time are all ok too. I guess we will know more as time goes on.

Yes I have had one fail was one in a million chance and was towards the beginning of them being packaged in controllers.

Just read a bulletin on MOL.
Because of the Hard Drive manufacturing problems in Thailand because of the Floods, Mitel has put together a special temporary price break for 8GB SSD drives.
Note this is only for CX(i).
So if you're ordering systems get the SSDs.

Most definately when you figure the amount of traditional drives replaced to my 1 SSD that makes it a no brainer.

Was going to mention this, but wasn't sure if they were just doing it for Asia Pacific or the whole world! Guess that answers my question. :)

From my understanding even if you try to order a standard HDD they will still send the SSD.

To ping my own original question....
We just had a SSD drive fail this week end.
It was only installed in May of '11.
