You need to use the SAD tool to setup notification on the specific alarms you want notified. As well as all the other things you have done

Possibly consider changing the "Audio for Calls Camped onto this Device" to something other than a ringback.
Then people have another indicator that they are camped on instead of ringing the phone.

You need to set the SIP trunk to go to the CRT. Generally this is setup by default.


The CRT is under system>Trunk Related>Call routing tables
This is a top down list so make sure that your phone number is above the E and *. Just direct it to the Hunt group you have setup.

I think the confusion here is that Hunt groups ignore the forwarding of phones. The issue of it being a SIP phone is irrelevant for that.

If you set a direct line to that phone you should be able to forward it.

If you set the phone to forward to an internal extension and call it from another phone does it work?

I have a customer with a reception phone and Jabra wireless headset.
They want a light that will let people know when the receptionist is on the phone so people stop trying to talk to them.
I have seen options for old fashioned analog devices but they are using all IP phones.

Any ideas?

I have a customer that wants a overhead paging system of some kind. Doesn't need to ring.
They need it to cover a smallish area, I think.
Any recommendations?

I was told about a strange issue and am not even sure where to start checking.

My experience was this…
 

    Dial [customer number] from [cell phone] on November 16th at 10:48 AM
    Wait for IVR prompt
    Dial 207 to connect with extension 207

 
Here’s where the strange part comes in…
 
Instead of being connected with extension 207, I was connected with another external inbound caller who was also dialing into the system. I was not connected with any internal extension (seemingly).


Anyone encounter something like this before or know what might cause it?

Those are the same thing.
The DB Programming is the more correct version number that you are looking for.

My recommendation would be to go to Mitel website and download all the DB plugins for version 6.0 that are available.
You can just install them over the other versions as they do not cause a conflict.

Also for future upgrades you can do the same thing and just install the newest version without doing any uninstall stuff.

Put the DB programming into On-Line Monitor and that menu option will appear. Be careful as this by-passes the restrictions in the system.

Go into system-->Device and Feature codes-->Phones-->Ext-->Speed Dial Numbers and you can modify the speed dial keys with your keyboad.

Those 2 phones are set as administrator phones, so they get system alarms.

They can enter the alarm clear feature code to make that go away, or can use the buttons on the front of the mitel box to clear it.

Or you can give the system a reboot, which might clear the actual problem as well.

I can't think of a good reason not to use the different server. I just used the ones the IT guy told me to use.

This system had a power failure on Thursday and everything seems to be working correctly now.

I have done lots of them. As long as the ports are open there is no issue.

I have attached a quick summery one of our techs put together.

They are using forward and copy. I was unable to get the Enhanced Integration working with the two factor authentication.

Using smtp.google.com

Port 587


All the times I could find have the same issue. The customer is identifying the issue based on the message left on the phone and not in their email.

I advise against using the replace code.
I have had it work for a short time and then after a system reset it reverts to the old MACS.
I always clear the MAC as per MAgye and have never had issues with that.

I did once have a phone that was build with the menu and hold buttons put in backwards. Was hard to explain that to a customer...
