I have a client using a Bria softphone.
MiVoice Office 250 6.1.3.27

When someone calls his extension(or the system rings as part of the hunt group) it takes about 12 seconds before his phone starts to ring. Is there a setting somewhere to make this faster?

Just add the voicemail back into the huntgroup after the extension list.

This sounds to me like the phones are all in use. Unless I am not understanding.

You could try reaching out to another local Vendor. Judging by your username you are in the same province I am, we could help.

Customer called in stating their 8528 is not functioning properly. I have replaced it once. And moved that user to the second DDM. Alarm 101 is displaying on their Admin phone and their system.
I am the vendor.
They are using a 6.1.3.28. The phone in question is in an outbuilding with 5 other phones that are working properly.

I do not have any remote access and they are about a 2.5 hour drive each way.

Any ideas on what would cause the phone to stop responding and go blank?

I always do my upgrades using the USB and have never had an issue.
Make sure that the folder is on the root of the USB (MiVoice_Office_250_6_1_SP_1_GA_NA)
There should be 2 subfolders in this one (6_1_Prompts and 6_1_Sys_Software_NA)
Then do your upgrade from the LED. Do the prompts one first. This will complete and seem like it did nothing.
Then do the software upgrade second. This will cause the system to do a full reset and if it requires a new license it will go into the typical license error.

Then go to AMC and upgrade the license and load it as usual.

Keep in mind when doing the batch change adding a user or removing them from will toggle the flag.

Also using the feature code does not update the phone-related flag.

Ie if handsfree flag is set to YES in the phone's flags and you add them to the phone-related flag it will switch to NO.
If the handsfree flag is set to NO and you add them to the phone-related flag it will switch to YES

So you cannot trust which setting they are in based on Phone-related-->flags

Hi Ian,

I have found with certain providers that it is possible to have 2 accounts.
As long as the provider will accept FQDN or IP independently.
For one account set up the SIP Trunk group with IP being 255.255.255.255 and the FQDN being the correct one.
For the other account set up SIP Trunk group with IP being correct and FQDN being blank.
