Title: DND Working for Internal but not External

Hello

User is in DND, internal calls to their extn show DND, external calls to their DDI still ring through as normal. Checked the System Forwarding Paths and all is well.

I'm stumped why this could be happening, a bug in their particular version of firmware? 6.3.6.21??

Anyone else had this?

I know this may sound silly, but are you sure it is ringing their extension directly?

Nothing is silly, everything can be overlooked!

But in this case yes, the DDI goes directly to the phone in the CRT.

So to confirm the path

CO trunk group (or SIP) goes to CRT. CRT goes to that user.
Is this night or day difference?

Does the User have something strange in their twinning or secondary extensions?

Are their multiple call forward paths?
Does one of the call forward path have DND and Fwd Call type- Call Routing Table and CO-Ring in turned off?

Thanks for the replies, I went to site all ready to upgrade the system and as I was waiting for the allotted down time I took another look at this phones settings.

System Forwarding was toggled off in Flags.

Turned it back on and DND for external calls worked!

So it seems because the 250 doesn't like to give engaged tone even though you have DND on it still rings through.

Solved.
