Hello Fellow Mitel Techs,
I'm set to manually install a Mitel ICP Controller CX. This was a retired unit so the database that is currently in there can be wiped. Essentially we are to upgrade the system software to 7.2 for ensure factory defaults are in place for future use.
I have thus far attempted to run the MiVoice Business System Installer (With 13.2.1.25 software), which seemed to work but then got hung up on a process, I let it sit for 3 hours before calling it. Now the system will not boot to ESM at all. I have connected via VX Works but this being my 1st time installing the system software not really sure what to do.
I have Filezilla Server software and created a "User" called ftp and shared the 13.2.1.25 folder with this user. Not sure how to configure the VX Works so that it will go out and grab this software and install it.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
-Iron

That looks right.
Do you see it attempting to hit the fileZilla server?
I'd also see if you can reach that FileZilla server from a different PC just to be sure you're not blocked by a windows firewall or something.
If you can get to it be sure you see the Boot_Install file.

Hi ralph,
I went to lunch, but when I came back to see what else I may be missing my Filezilla Server showed this:

What are my next set of steps that I should be doing?
Thanks,

That looks right too.
You may want to post what your putty session looks like connected to your controller.
Lets see what it's doing.

Hi ralph,
