Title: Help with version 7.1

We just upgraded some of our 3300s to 7.1 and when the phones boot up they are getting message assertion failed-18.  We have determine is is a 802.x issue.  When we remove 802.x from the switch port the phone boots up fine.  Does anyone know a workaround for the 802.x?   Any help would be appreciated.

Mitel changed the firmware on version 7.1 for the IP phones.  It does not work with 802.1X.  We are having to upgrade controllers to 7.1 and then putting in old firmware for IP Phones.  Mitel dropped the ball on this BIG TIME!
