We have users who accidentally trigger a callback request giving them a constant flashing light.
How could I disable this feature on the mitel 3300 controller so we stop having this issue?

Pick up the handset, press the flashing MWI button and have the ringing extension answer. As soon as the call is answered the light will stop.
Or, ensure that the COS of the phone has the ability to erase message waiting. Then with handset down, press the button and follow the prompts.

Best you can do is to set this to yes for all devices in the cos
- this stops the message that enables users to setup the callback
Disable Send Message
Select"Yes" to restrict IP telephones from sending Call MeBack messages. The "Leave a Msg" soft prompt is notdisplayed and/or the message LED on the set initiating the calldoes not flash; this informs the user that Call Me Back messagesare disabled.
