Title: Tracking Logged In Users
Post by: io on August 19, 2019, 11:53:11 AM
We frequently run into an issue where staff rotate to a different location and forget to log out of the UCA client at their old desk. Basically we have to go on a PC restarting frenzy until we free up their account to log in elsewhere. Is there a maintenance command I can run that will tell me how many stations a user is logged in to? Please advise.

Thanks

MiCollab Client doesn't log you out when you log on elsewhere. (I mean, it does, then it logs itself on again and logs you out from your new location, then your new location logs on automatically and logs the old one out, and so on ad infinitum).
It's surprising that they got to v8 without doing anything about that yet.

Thanks Vince - Any ideas on a maintenance command to track down the workstations where a user is still logged in?

I'd say your Windows guy would be better placed to figure out where somebody is logged in.

So can't you use AD to find out which machine a user is logged into?
