when I issue the command SIP LINK STATE ALL
I get that the link is out of service.
We are trying to connect to an exchange server 2010. Should I be looking at the exchange or at the mitel. I am unsure about the message. I am new and as I read the message I look at it two ways.
It is not seeing the exchange server.
OR
My config is wrong.
My question is would I get this message if exchange was offline?
Thanks
Mark

An update on this issue.
I am using the Mitel Configuration Notes SIP CoE 10-4940-00117 Configure for use Exchange 2010
When I am in exchange and type Test-UMConnectivity - UMIPGateway:<gateway> -Phone:<Phone> | fl
it calls the phone in question and replies any digits entered(In other words it appears to work).
Then when I try and dial the extension to the sip group I do not get the message Out of Service I get dead air. After a few minutes if I dial the extension to the sip trunk I get the Out of Service message again.

I'm about to start trying to integrate Exchange 2010 and our Mitel 3300 system. Can you tell me where you got that document from?
TIA.
edited to add - found the document from Mitel. Besides that document, was there any other documentation you used - specifically from Microsoft?
