Hi Mitel friends.

I have an issue that i am getting an boot process error when upgrading the memory from 512 to 1 G. Part number is 50006727.
In the Vxworks i can see Main Memory 1024.

I can also see the following errors:
* Error loading files: errno = 0xc0006
* Cannot load boot file
* Error reading block 0, errno c0003
* useFdiskPartParse error

I turned everything back and use the old 512 RAM module and the system boot up successfully.

Can somebody help me out with this one? Maybe the RAM Module not compatible ?

Mitel Software Applications / Reconcile Wizard Error

Hi Tech support.
I am installing a Vm Micollab but I am getting an error when running the Reconcile Wizard on the Vm Micollab. I checked if all info are filled in correctly in the Network Element of the both the Mivoice Business and the Vm Micollab, but cannot find any issue.
Can someone help me out with this issue?

Hi Guys

I a Mitel 3300 Mxe installed at a Hotel. This hotel use IQWare PMS system.
This customer has two options to check in a guest.
Check in guest with credit card or check in a guest with cash only. 
There is two COR programmed. COR 4 (this cor make the phone fully open to call anywhere)
and COR 1(this cor block all calls. Guest can call emergencies number and internal numbers)

When customer is checked out the cor must be 1. This action is oke.

When the guest with credit card check in the COR must change to 4.  This action is also oke.
When guest check in with cash only the cor must remain to 1
The problem we have is that when the guest check in with cash only the COR change to 4 just like when a costumer check in with credit card. Name and last name change correctly.

Is there something i have to do on the Mitel site or is this issue on the PMS ?

Please advise.

This issue started when the software release was upgraded from 4.1 to 6.1.
Waiting for the network tech to do the portforwarding.

Yes I have username and password. Forgot to mentioned that.
I have no port forwarding programmed. Do I need to do port forwarding to the ip address of the PBX?
If yes, do I need to forward the RTP ports ?

Hi Guys,

I have a question. I have a sip trunk programmed on a Mitel 470.
When I dial the main number which is programmed on the sip trunk, the call drops.
I can received the call normally, but the call drops when answering the call.

The pbx is connected on the customer LAN and authenticate through an static public ip with the sip provider.

Can someone help me out on this one?

When I dial the main number which is programmed on the sip trunk, the call drops.

Hi Guys,

I have now CAT F License.
But still i cannot get the sip register. I keep getting SIP Error. I programmed the username and password in the Authorization form (inbound) but still the same error.

Can someone help?

Hi Guys,

I am programming an 112 Dect phone with RFP 12 single cell base station, but cannot get the sip extension on handset working.
The looks like sip ext register like for a few seconds and then unregister again. I have only Cat D license on the system.

Can some help me with this one. Or is there a link so i can see how to program it ?

Hi Mitel friends,

I programmed an PRI on a Mitel 3300. All work ok but i dont have caller id on incomming calls.
Can someone help me out with this one. Maybe there is a few setting i need to check in the COS.

Hi guys,

I am having an issue to login into a Mitel 3300 Mxe (MCD 4.2). Everytime i tried to login i am getting an error that the password is incorrect. I login in into vx works and try to reset all password. I used RESET_LOGIN_PASSWORD , ResetAllLoginPasswords , Reset_All_Login_Passwords but the pbx is not accepting any of those commands.

Can someone help me out how i can reset the users login password?

Before i forget to ask, is it possible to backup a pbx trough vxworks ?

Hi all,

I have a question about call forwarding. When i forward mu ext to another ext i can see the callforwarding icon appear on my phone screen. Is there a way that i can display the forwarded extension number on my Mitel phone? I have a Mitel 5330.

Hi Mitel friends,

I have a client that has a Mitel 3300 and a Cisco Call Manager. They want to connect the Mitel and the Cisco so the extension on both pbx system can call each other through the sip trunk.
Can any one help me out what the steps i need to take to program the sip trunk. (what i need from the call manager)

Hi Acejavelin,

I did use the command  EDIT TRACE TSP L2L3 <PLID> but cannot see any inbound traffic when calling the DID number. Does this mean that the provider is not forwarding the call ?
Outbound call work oke.

Can someone advice please.

I will do that tomorrow. What should i expect in the trace? If i am not getting anything does that means that the provider is not forwarding the calls the the Mitel switch?
