Title: Embedded VM greetings.
Post by: x-man on November 08, 2013, 10:01:48 AM
A strange one. I have a customer complaing about the system tagging the announcement "please dial 2 for the cell phone". Whichever mix of mailbox greetings is used it tags this on to the customer recorded greeting.....so you get hi this is blah blah blah then dial 2 to call the cell added in by the system. Since this is not allowed and not wanted we cant get rid of it. Even using the option to have the greeting recorded by the customer followed by the recorded message to it adds this damn dial 2 message in. Anyone got any ideas on how to get rid of it.

That option is controlled in the users mailbox.
To kill the message the user has to log in and delete the cell phone number they put in.
When the cell phone number is not there it doesn't play the message.
Can't be done from the GUI.
