Title: Exchange 2010 as Voicemail
Post by: Chakara on March 18, 2010, 04:59:56 PM
Ok so who has guinee pigged this one?  I'm curious about the new MWI functionaltiy - I have to assume that Exchange will just dial the feature access code to turn the MWI on or off?

  Just checking....

My assumption was wrong - the Exchange will send a SIP Notify message to the 3300.  Apparently some phone systems are rejecting this message - does anyone know if this works with Mitel?

What I've been told is that there isn't any MWI with Exchange.
It's the 1st Iv'e heard of a SIP message to the 3300.   I suspect that the 3300 wouldn't react to it.

Yeah, MWI is new in Exchange 2010 and I was thinking the same.  Just wondered if anyone had tried it yet....
