 How do I check the COS of the VM ports and the Trunk ports?

I hate to be that guy but how do I find the COS of the VM port?

I know how to check the options for the COS assigned to a users extension but dont see a COS for VM

 Lets stick with your logic being xxxx is the internal number and yyy-yyy-yyyy is the external number.

If I dial the speed call number xxxx from internally it does its job and forwards to yyy-yyy-yyyy, if the user does not answer it will go to the yyy-yyy-yyyy external voicemail

From my cell phone, if I dial the businesses main number where the auto attendant asks to enter an extension, I enter in the speed call number xxxx, it sounds like it does its job as the line will start ringing (assuming its dialed yyy-yyy-yyyy) but eventually loops back to the auto attendant before yyy-yyy-yyyy's external voicemail picks up

I need to get yyy-yyy-yyyy's external voicemail to pickup if they dont answer when external people call in.

yes that is correct,
xxxx goes to yyy-yyy-yyyy and then routes back to the AA.

What I need to happen is that when xxxx gets called, it goes to yyy-yyy-yyyy and if yyyy doesnt answer it goes to yyyy's voicemail


I tried doing a call forward profile but could never get it to work when an external number called into the AA, entered in the extension it would never forward to yyy-yyy-yyyy even though all the COS settings were correct.

Will using System Speed Dial not allow the external voicemail to pick up?

I just created a System Speed Call, set the Speed Call number to be our Internal extension, set the actual number to be the external (cell phone) number, set overrides toll control to yes, type is S/C

The number is setup as a System Speed Call so I dont believe there is a COS assigned to the extension?
I can call the internal extension which is then forwarded to the external number, it rings 4-5 times before coming back to our internal AA, never making it to the users external voicemail.

I have a System Speed Call going to an external number, call connects and rings but doesnt make it to the users VoiceMail before rerouting to the AutoAttendant. Is there a timer that needs to be increased?

So answer supervision isn't anything I can change on our Mitel system but something in place by the exterior carrier correct?
Seems so odd as all 3 users have the same carrier, 2 work and 1 does not.
Please confirm that the Answer Supervision is not something on our system and I will call the carrier to see if they set the numbers up differently.

 so maybe we're onto something.
My 2 users that work just fine, as soon as I dial their extension and it starts to ring, the clock/timer shows up
my problem user, the clock/time doesnt show up until the call is answered.

What does that mean for our next step?

I am forwarding using the actual number, no speed dials
all 3 users have external numbers from the same carrier, yet only this one user/number doesnt like being forwarded

Are there any commands using System Maintenance commands to help see why the forward isnt' making it out when going through the auto attendant?

I have created 3 call forward profiles to users to have their internal extension dial their external number
2 of the 3 are working wonderfully

Dialing problem user from an internal extension to their internal extension will result in being forwarded to their external number (this is good)
dialing problem user from an external number going through the auto attendant will result in it just looping back to the auto attendant (this is bad)

COS is correct as it is working for the other 2 users
allow public to public network is set to yes
allow external call forward is set to yes

whats also odd is that if I change problem user from being "Always" forward to "No Answer External" it will forward to problem users external number but will bounce back to the auto attendant instead of going to their external voicemail.

Please help Mitel Wizards
I want to stay will Call Forwarding Profile instead of System Speed Dial

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / VM Mailboxes unable to make changes

So here is an odd one that has me stumped. When logging into our Mitel controller I can make changes on all menu items I have tried except for VM Mailboxes. I choose a mailbox number/name and click the Change button, the window to make changes never shows up.

User and Device Config works just fine, choose a number/directory name and click the change button, window pops right up to make needed changes. Why has this all of a sudden stopped working for VM Mailboxes?

Java is up to date, same issue happens in IE and Firefox
