I assume you mean to delete the DB the software on the customer PC and not the PBX itself?

Thanks for the heads up, but that is what I already did!
I had already downloaded the version MiVoice_Office_250_6_3_SP_5_GA_{Country}.zip and inside the two pieces of software are numbered differently

The dbp is 102 and the system is 108. See screenshots.

On my pc I have the same set up as the customer PC ( with a few added plug ins)- see 3rd screenshot - but my pc will connect and their PC wont. It makes no sense.

I completed a new install and added the Sys Admin and DB software to the customer PC so we can gain access remotely using their local PC.
When I run the software I get the following error -

The Mitel System Administration and diagnostics version (6.3.102.0) installed on this pc does not support this DB programming version. Please upgrade your Mitel System Administration and diagnostics to version 6.3.104 .0 or greater

However I HAVE 6.3.9.104 installed (I added the plug in for this) but it still doesn't work. See the attached screenshots showing what I see.

Can anyone help with this please?

Hi Tech Electronics,
Yeah its pretty awkward, This is a Canadian First Nations airport - About 600km north of the City of Winnipeg with no roads to get there!
They are not technical and don't have any testing ability or equipment such as butt phones.

Unfortunately, it IS  the inbuild LS ports too. So, I am going to get them to restart the system tomorrow. I am sending them detailed instructions on how to do so through the front panel of the PBX. I will get them to follow cables and check connections as well as send photos of the ports and bix connections to see if there is any damage or anything loose, but even if there is it will probably need a tech to go up and fix the issues next week.

I have tried calling the 4 lines and they all ring, but aren't answered and the night greeting doesn't kick in when it should - so it definitely looks like the lines are down somewhere. The provider says they don't have a problem, but I will check with them myself before booking a plane ticket!

We did have remote access when it was installed 4 years ago, but this no longer works - I think they have changed internet providers since then. So we really can't do much but reset the system and hope for the best. They don't have phones working now, so if the system actually dies they are no worse off than they are now I guess!!

I have a remote installation (a plane ride to the middle of nowhere to get there) where the customer has a Mivoice250 with 4 analog trunks incoming.

They say that they now see a message saying 'Trunk is Unplugged' and the 4 line buttons are permanently lit.

I have never seen this message before and wondered if anyone else had and if it may be possible for the customer to fix without taking a flight there?

(They do say that there was a storm and possible lightning strike - But the phone company says the lines are ok) Couldthat have fried the loop start ports on the 5000?

I have a DECT 112 set up as a SIP phone on a mivoice250. I can make calls to other extensions and receive calls on the DECT. But if I dial 400 (for voicemail) or try to access and CRA's that require an input, the numbers I press are not recognised. Does anyone know why the DTMF tones may not be working?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Transfer to Fax

A customer only has 3 analogue lines coming into the system including their one fax line.
However, they hardly use the fax and want to use this as an extra incoming phone line.
They have asked if calls can come into this line and if it is a fax, can they redirect the call to the fax machine?

The fax machine will be set up as an analogue extension.  - So I am guessing I can just get the user to answer calls on the 'incoming fax line' and on the odd occasion they hear a fax tone when answering, they can just transfer the call to the fax extension.

Will that work or does anyone have a different method for the user to deal with the odd incoming fax?

I have a Mivoice 250 with analog trunks.
When a user makes a trunk call and the call is unanswered at the other end, the phone that made the call rings when the handset is put down. Then the voicemail/message lamp lightson that phone but there is no message in the mailbox.
Anyone ever come across something like this and how do I stop it happening?

A customer has run out of analogue ports -
we have a t1/e1 card, ddm16 card, and 2 single line cards already installed in the Mitvoice250.
With the internal 4 single lines we have therefore only have 12 single lines for analogue devices but the customer needs 14.

I have heard that its possible to split one digital channel from the DDM card to create 2 analogue lines. Does anyone know about this, what equipment is needed and maybe has a link to paperwork on how to set it up?

I have a customer using digital phone's on a PRI.
They want to be able to make calls without showing their outgoing number. They were prefer to show no number at all or 'private/anonymous' when they make calls. Is this allowed and how would i program it on the system.
