Title: MiCollab v8 Desktop Client notifications

I have Windows 10 Pro 64bit installed with MiCollab Client v8.0.311 build 91 running on server version 8.0.2.202. On Windows 7 if the client is minimized to the system tray and an inbound call comes into my phone, I get a pop up notification letting me know there is an inbound call. In Windows 10 however I do not get any notification for it. I can't figure out why it isn't showing. If I open the app on the screen (instead of minimized) then a call comes in, it shows the usual call/end call options. Any ideas? I have the latest updates to Windows 10 as of this week, wonder if they broke something in the client with an update.

Hey,

The Mitel KMS says the following:

Symptoms

MiCollab 8.1 Windows Client does not show Pop-ups and Notifications for incoming / missed calls, voicemail, etc. after update to Windows 10 Build 1809. The notifications also doesn't show up in the Windows Action Center
 
Resolution
Solution will be included in the MiCollab 8.1.1 FP1 release scheduled for end of Jan 2019.

So unfortunately the solution is to upgrade the server or rollback Windows.

FYI The article says Jan 2019 but it has been delayed until mid March

Can you (or anyone else) confirm that this Windows 10 notification problem is resolved in this build?
I will have to bring in our Mitel service technician to do the upgrade (only a few weeks after we paid to do the last one) so I would only be doing it to fix this notification issue.
Our Mitel technician told me "I checked the release notes for the latest release and it does not have the fix for this. The Knowledge Base has no mention of fix in the latest software."

This release does fix the notifacation issue, however it only notifies for 20 seconds.
The next release is going to reinstate the continuous flashing notifacation.
