Does anyone have any experience with this?
-
We were part of the beta trial group and currently have two in production with one with over 900 phones on it, the second one is used for resiliency only.
-
Are you running the the GA software?
Do you have any hardware or software problems?
-
Currently we are not running a GA version of the software but will be again soon. As for hardware problems we have not had any.
-
Does your retrieve license button work or do you or your vendor have to use the SI tool to update licenses?
-
Yes, all licensing for the MCD has to be done via the software installer.
-
I am pretty sure they fixed that, b/c we recently moved some licenses around and I was able to retrieve the licenses just fine. I know they had been working on it for awhile.
-
Just spoke with Mitel the initial licensing setup must be done with the SI tool but updates can be done within the ESM.
-
It does work within the ESM
Customer had a restriction in the firewall that would let regular MX controllers go out but for some reason was stopping the MXE Servers.
-
We have a school district running on one of these. The licensing can be updated through the AMC and then updated is the ESM. The only real issue we've had has become a known issue with the current software release -> dial-out of queue for an ACD group doesn't function when your incoming calls come through a PRI on another controller thats networked together.
-
Just ran into that problem myself. Do you have an ETA from Mitel on the fix I haven't heard anything.
-
No, they couldn't even tell me if it would be in the next release or not. So we moved the rads back to the LX that has the PRI. This allows my ACD to remain on the Communications Director, and have my RADs with dial-out work.

Just as an update, Mitel has issued a patch for 9.0 to fix this, and will have the patch built into 9.0 UR2 I believe thats suppose to be out in a few weeks.
