Title: Mitel ICP Comms Card Alarm After Removing Network Element
Post by: ralph on June 02, 2022, 04:58:12 PM
Today I removed a 3300 MXeII network element from our cluster that is being retired.
The controller is completely removed and when doing the command XNET STAT ALL IP it is no longer there.
But I have an ICP Comms Card alarm.
My thought is that I need to reboot the primary controller in the cluster but I can't find any docs that say so.

What are your thoughts?

Ralph

I have seen that before, first check that the MiVB is really gone in "ICP/PBX Networking" after that I would suggest rebooting the MiVB to resolve it.

We have had to reboot after this before, but also have forgotten to remove the former node from ICP/PBX Networking on some of the clustered nodes.

Echoing the other comments, after you've removed *all* references to the old node in programming, you need to reboot.

That's what I thought. In the back of my mind I seem to remember having to do that but it's been years since I've needed to.

Thanks.
